In reading a recent post, I came across an abbreviation with which I was unfamiliar: LO. I googled it and found a link to a glossary of caregiver abbreviations. BTW, my favorite on the list is FOG (fear, obligation, and guilt): so apropos! When I first came to AgingCare, I was always wondering why elders were moving to Illinois (IL), Alabama (AL) and New Hampshire (NH) not realizing those abbreviations were referencing Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Nursing Home. I'm serious :)
