Pirate & Austin, thank you. I did state a fact and asked him a question. He said he didn't need my excuses and left in a huff. I was working my ass off and he was disrespectful. I kinda feel sorry for him. I guess he has no life.
Miz, Austin, you can't remember the days of Jesus'birth or of the Mayflower arrival. You are not that old! I don't remember the times of Julius Caesar, too. I am glad to be in the 21th century so I can talk to you every night. Miz, as far as I understand, you did right. Don't worry...
Thanks June. I know that my wife would like a phone call each day, but to rest I feel like I need a break from hearing her complain about one more thing that is not my monkey nor something that I can't do anything about. When she asked me on the phone how I was doing, I was very honest about how today has been a very long, extremely low functioning, slow moving day. She was sorry to hear that. A book came in the mail today that i ordered from amazon.com which validates and sheds light on my current path of dealing with stuff. I know some have said slow down, but the problem with that is I haven no control over when these flashbacks come, how long they last or how depleted I feel after them or how long I want to be by myself.
It's 4am and I just got 7 more boxes loaded on the boat. dropped a big one in the drink and luckily it floated long enough for me to fish it out. I loaded 4 boxes on the boat earlier tonight when the restaurant was full and almost fell off the swim platform with a box. The restaurant is right next to the boat so I got everything squared away and then went inside the boat thinking that I had provided enough slapstick entertainment for the diners. Easier to complete the job in the dark of night.
Good to see you Pirate! c'mon on the boat! I'll get a case of Spam and plug up the head to make it feel like a real cruise!
Miz! You're going to be ok. Love you cutie. try not to stress. nasty customer. give me his number. You're right, the customer left in a Huff. Cream colored, two door.
Crowe! you're doing it! what's the title of your new book? the one that did it for me was 'Walking on Eggshells'
Ted! how you doing?
Maxine! the lost times that you write about certainly are wonderful and I remember a more simple life and despite the complexities and multiple systems of a boat, I look forward to making this a simple life. Right after I figure out the Sextant.
GP! Flex! Deef! Rip! thanks for writing and telling me how you're doing. Rip the Stitch. Love to Sir.
Jen! Building Inspectors are notorious idiots. It was also the responsibility of the builder to get the permits and know what the city would do before he started. I hate contractors and inspectors both. bunch of swinging d!cks. You don't have to pay the difference do you? Backbill that s.o.b. Hopefully you can escape soon.
Castoff! funny girl!
Kuli! You are doing the work of a team of people.
OK...I had to read through the thread for a bit to see where this came from: GP! Not going to Anchorage Alaska! Brrr and wrong time of year. Of course, this boat is so slow that by the time I made it through the Canal and up the West Coast it would be late Spring. I'm moving the boat to an anchorage down the coast of FL! That's why all the provisioning. Once the boat is away from the dock, everything comes on with the dinghy. Woof.
Linda! Sorry that your Pa is in such pain. Ow. Sux. Poor pa. You are such a good daughter and mom and wife and FUNNY! Can't wait to hang out with ya! Boat drinks! Oh yeah, I've got to get some of those little umbrellas. I keep forgetting. Early onset. either that or I'm too cheap to blow $ on something I can't eat or float.
Tennessee and Lil Tenny! still have your cards on the wall and have lil tenny's open to see the artwork. Nice. How goes it with the vultures?
Wanted to move the boat in time to witness the last Shuttle launch. can get the boat within 5 miles of the launch pad and anchor and hope that the Shuttle, 1. launches in a reasonable time and 2. stays aloft and no spare parts fall on the boat.
Oh look... the Cat is shooting me a high five. Ever walk by and grab that back foot while the cat is busy?
Oh Rossella! I was thinking of you and what you are going through. terrible. i hope you are strong and get some interesting shows to translate. Have you ever done any Deadliest Catch? Thanks Rossella for writing so well about your cats because that had something to do with me getting the Cat. Who is presently yowling and wants me to throw her toys down the companionway so she can either fetch them or leave them there for me to bump into. I also stepped in the water dish again today. Haven't done that since the beginning. It's been a little over a month now! Cat has almost got me trained.
bobbie321, SWOE and its workbook are great, but what I'm reading is directly tied into my issues with my mom when i was a child and a teenager which I'm now dealing with.
Whoa, a shuttle launch. I wish I could be there for that. Seriously cool, and numbered...
Miz you have a right to be treated with respect at all times!!! I have no life but I am always very polite...Please and Thank You and not making others jobs harder by being a pain in the arse! You didn't hit him or call him a jerk, he was out of line...and I bet he doesn't think twice about it. The world is over run with people like that.
Ramp, non issue till Monday. Then I don't care, MAY BE SNOW ON IT BY THEN. NOT MY PROBLEM...
Grandpa went o ADH, had a good time, came home showed his Bingo win, a stuffed Goofy toy (appropriate) and talked to mom for an hour over stuff...Yeah, it aint killing him! We made A LOT OF ADJUSTMENTS TO OUR IVES IN HAVING HIM HERE!!! He can go two days week and do exercises and watch movies and get lunch and health checks... Anybody else watched Oklahoma last night? One of my fav's letter boxed even...I just tried to block out his warbling bits of songs he remembers and looking over at me twitching and making sicko moaning noises and rubbing his hands together when any kissing scenes come on...God just end this...Hell Kill me, it doesn't mater. I wanted to talk to grandma so bad I was crying last night. Why didn't HE GO FIRST!
j . i know it doesnt seem fair that the good ones is always the first to go and leave the worst one behind , i just dont get it . you can still talk to gma . i know she hears ya . she may not be able to do anything u ask but u can feel the comfert by talkin to her . i talk to my mom all the time . yes bobbie ! we wanna go watch that shuttle lanuch ! it would be so awesome ! let us know if u did get to see it go off . hubby s home from work and wants to go split wood . woo lovely , its dark and gloomey and very windy out , not too cold so thats one good thing , made a homemade lasnuagana how ya spell that , think i went overboard spelling lalala , anyway cant wait to eat em up ! lotta cheese in em and sauce and cottage cheese and piled it with onions . red one , mmmm . ya all have a happy saturday ! xoxox
Rosella of course I am not that old but Thanksgiving and Christmas were days for thinking of the real meaning of those times and everyone was not so hassled and trying to get the perfect gift for everyone and shopping until we droped since I am so poor with trying to get his debts paid I just can not go out to stores or malls and it is kind of neat I feel freer this year. We are having Indian summer here in the northeast even have windows open. I hope all of you who are having more problems than usuall that God gives you all an extra measure of strength today.
The thing is with that customer, he comes in ALL THE TIME and so I will have to deal with him again. Possibly Monday. :( Hopefully he'll start going in the mornings when I am not there.
Where is everybody tonight out shopping for the early sales it is so quiet here this has not happened before since Bobbie started this Bobbie where are you?
Hi June ~ Yes it is quiet! Change of season? Very cold here. Neighbors are hiding inside ~ smoke coming from their chimneys.
Seems many people here are fighting the same flu bug that has attacked me the last couple of weeks. I feel confident I can't share it online. It's awful!
Miz ~ take a deep breath ~ look him in the eye. Maybe he is perfect? Ask him? You'll find out.
I hope your employer has your back. You don't deserve crap at work. I'd send his ass outta my business if he messed with you or any employee. No amount of money is worth being harrassed or humbled.
Rip, I came across the PBS Lawrence Welk thing a few months ago, Mom loves it sometimes (sings all the wrong words, etc.) and sometimes doesn't even seem to recognize it. those are usually the nights I can expect some heavy sundowners stuff.
YO Bobbie & SeaCat!!! Dragging my ass outta illness stinks! Keep thinking I'm back - then WHAM! Cough, hack, choke, gag ... hate it! Especailly the weakness! The cats work the keyboard better than me!
So Bobbie ~ You noticed you are responsible for over 5,500 posts. Take a bow!!! Thank YOU! Took your humor & gut response to hook us all together. I don't know if you realize how many people you have brought together ... one day when you venture into Face Book ...
We talk about you all the time!!! Huh , ladies? Actually, I think your absence might be fodder for a good book. We can use our imaginations about Bobbie's "undisclosed" location.
Hope things are good in Florida. Glad the SeaCat has you on your toes. They don't let up - even when you're sick! *ssHoles. Gotta love their adoration! They need food! No matter how sick you are! Like parents! Ah ... Care Giving ... It will be recognized somedday.
hey Ted! I've heard about SunDowners syndrome. What a pain! Lawrence was a simple surprize!
How are you? I keep thinking about the animal rescue stuff. I ache for the many animals who don't have people - & the aging people who don't have animals.
Oh, I think I need to sleep. Lately my brain has been stuck in a rut I can't seem to break, just worry, worry, worry. Sorry i haven't been much fun lately. G'night.
Worry, worry, worry ... I know that feeling! Sleep when you can ... if you can!
Hoping you have some nice dreams, Ted. Sometimes it's our only escape .... if you're able to experience a pleasant dream. May the sweet dreams be with you!
If not ~ you can complain to us. (or me ... but I think the crew agrees)
Hi, I didn't write tonight because I had to work and finish a translation soon. I am not in jail yet! Bobbie, of course the cats fart! My cats make wonderful farts. They have such a good smell that I squeeze their belly so that they release them and I can sniff them. Yes I know I am a perverted. I don't translate "deadliest catch" in particular, but many documentary for Discovery and also documentaries about fishing. Thanks to you and to everyone who is worried for me; it is a hard stuff I am facing, but in cases like this you must not lose your head, so you don't lose it. My brother is coming here this morning and we'll talk about it a little. Linda dear I think you were talking about "lasagna". it is much simpler than what you wrote!!! You have an Italian friend.
