I think someone came and got the puppy next door the evil ass wad neighbors left out in all weather no shelter. I made a bed from and old wicker basket and some quilted liner of some sort. That is gone too. I have no idea, but I hope she is somewhere warm and safe now. I called the city three times...
Oh my, reworking her daughters clothes would be such a gigantic project....they would have to be cut apart and new patterns made....MIL is barely a size 14 in pants and that's just to give her room due to the depends. I buy her shirts and tops in med and they hang only slightly on her shoulders. her daughters clothes are 24W. MIL really has absolutely no idea what is hanging in her closet. I guarantee by tomorrow she will have forgotten they were even there. Her memory span is about 10 min now.
rossella , my mil steals things too , even at a yard sale ! i told her its not for sale go put it back , but she took em anyway , A start of chicken hen plant . i was so embarris and told the lady that mom just took a start of her plant , that woman charged mom a dime for it , lol she ll be comin here weds and gotta keep an eye on her till she leaves , well keeping an eye on dad now , he is getting up ! 3 rd time today !! i think that darvocets are kickin his ass ! makin him wanna get up but ends up on the floor , dad had his cancer removed off his nose last friday so he s full on darocets.
rossella i like what you said about ur grandfather s brother getting up in the morning and ready to go to work . awww and i am glad that u laughed for half hr about the whoring , wink .
wheres nancy !! i see her on facebook i said hi to her and she didnt answer , just saw it again a bit ago peach said hi to her and nancy wondered if she is begin ingored ? her facebook is messed up or what ? ah wel anyway NANCY , im thinking of you ..
gotta go to walmart grrr i hate that store ! hubby and i went to aldi and stock up on cans goods , then went home i thought oh shoot ! need dog food cat food and dad needs briefs ! i need turkey and i need ham ! i can never get everthing i need tilli get home , im thinkin oh my gosh ! menopause , i had to go to bed when i got home , stressed out thinkin about house full and all the cookin to do on thurs , mil and bil and bah blah blah . blasted headache . ah going to walmart at ten pm woo that;ll be fun , xoxo
As soon I as I get up, I say to myself just twelve more hours. That is when I can sit down after Mom is tucked in and be by myself. That is the only alone time I can get. I look oh so forward to this time.
Linda, darocet is a drug? If it is a pain killer it should calm him down... I am surprised you hate Walmart. There was a movie where a girl had a baby in Walmart and she got married in Walmart. It was a film with Natalie Portman, it was very cute. Jen, I hope the dog has been stolen by someone who wanted him to be better. I stole one dog (she is with me, now, Erika) and I did not even warned her "owner" because the puppy was so sick and ill treated that I think the owner did not give a damn about her. I really hope it happened this way for your neighbour's dog. Marcella, I understand you so well. When I open the door of my room at nine in the night after I put my mother to bed, I feel I can finally rest... At least, rest my feet and bones. The head does not rest too much.
ah home from walmart . 187 dollars plz ! rossella, yes darvocets is a painpill . yes it does makes him relax , i think its the full moon that made him strong and do things to shock the hell outta me . daughter said i should ask about getting a longer rails to make his hospital bed look like a crib . geezesss . i dont want him to fall and get hurt and do more damages to himself and my back ! he tried to get out of the recliner to go bathroom , lucky i caught him on time , i was floored ! noo pa u know u cant walk and dont even try . poor guy , he thinks he can do it , take one step and down he goes . :-( ok its 1230 am and i need to go to bed , got a long day ahead of me tmr . oh yes i hope whoever stole the puppy will have a happy life . not stole it , i d say rescue it . xoxoxo
Linda, pay attention to the rails. If they are not high enough he could climb over them. My mother did it and broke her leg. I think the best thing is you put a mattress near his bed, so if he falls down, he does not hurt himself. Full moon? My mother is hyperative, too. Yesterday morning I woke up and saw her walking in the garden... With no shoes on.
There is now five inches of snow on the unfinished ramp....You know they are getting it done, but they grossly underestimated the man hours needed to complete the job......
there is snow coming all week it will be -1 on Thursday...I want to be a snow bird and have a place in Arizona to get away from this...If I see any Happy Skiers I may barf!
Don't worry Rosella, I just read that Angelina Jolie "pledges to help flood-ravaged Italy" If you run into her, ask if she wouldn't mind popping over to help dig out J.
Ted, I am so glad that Angelina is going to make something for us. (it's creepy, Tiber river has almos arrived to the maximum level!) Maybe she had some part in the happy conclusion of my problems with justice. It is so absurd that I doubt you can believe it's true. Things like this happen only in Italy. When I tell these stories I understand why in the movies we are depicted like people making a big fuss and mess, and thinking only of coffee, women and of the afternoon nap. Well, after 20 days of agony, my cousin and my attorney finally had an appointment with the DA. This morning they talked to him and it came out that the person investigated was not my mother... but me!!!! No, in fact, there is a wife of a Mafioso who has exactly my name and she was born in the same day of the same year, and she had a current account in the same bank (it is a very huge bank, and my name is quite common in Italy). But she was born in Naples, I was born 50 miles south of Naples in a village. The DA ordered to freeze the account of the Mafioso's wife, my namesake, and those dorks of his employees (or the dorks of the bank) didn't notice that there were two people with the same name and they froze the wrong account. (In my mother's current account there are three holders, my mother, my brother and I. We guessed they were after her - she is the main holder - instead they were after me) When the DA realized the mistake, he said my cousin and my lawyer: "I am sorry for this inconvenience, you can leave now, bye bye" and he signed for the release of our account. This does not mean that the account will be de-frozen in the next days. Maybe the paper he signed is now under a pile of other "things to do". I know that if I don't have our account free in a few days, I am going to go to Naples myself and I won't be very kind (whatever happens!) As my US friend Charlie said: "Dear God, what shall we think of next?" BTW I received a package from my friend Nancy from Monterey, full of candies, a red scarf and two quilts. So the day ended very well. Well, if Angelina solved my problem, maybe now she can help Jen with her ramp, and in the meantime she can adopt another baby, maybe a baby who is cold because of the snow. And she can have another tattoo.
Called the damn doc's office this morning and they said they had called in my prescription to the pharmacy. Went to the damn pharmacy after work and they said they were waiting for the doc's office. Why is this so difficult? Why is nothing going right or almost nothing? I guess I should count my blessings but I'm SO frustrated!!
Hmm the great void that is the space between the doctor office and Pharmacists desk...Maybe that is why they have a separate number..it goes to Detroit then Omaha the Hong Kong before routing around Jupiter...here is your prescription ma'am... I mean really!
Mom's doctor suggested I try VNA hospice/palliative care. The nurse is coming over on Sat for an interview. After the appt. we went to Borders Books and the clerk mentioned that it was nice to see someone with their Mom, she had just lost her Mom after caring for her for 6 years. Our weather here is fairly mild, 50's, but those in the northwest must be having quite a storm!
I'm sick with a cold, coughing and a whopper 3 day headache.
Rossella: 'Peggy' is an American tv commercial for a credit card depicting a call center where a guy calls himself Peggy and is totally useless as far as solving any customer issues. Peggy = useless.
I got the fever and chills and am feeling lonely. When I think about it, I am totally alone in a strange place. tough titty for me
