I for one can relate. I know the lonely feeling for sure. lot's of hugs!!!! Hi Miz, you are in my thoughts, mom also sends her hugs to. All of you have become a huge part of my family, and even mom. She is good today, I am on the couch with i believe is kidney stone, havent had one in years. OMG the pain, thank god for vicodan... the happy pill lol lol... Did some of the bills with mom this morning....again the repeat game. Now i just say remember mom, she looks at me with those unknowing eyes, and says oh yeah. I try not to get aggrevated, but sometimes ya know.... Oh well.... This is my silly life. Always an adventure.. Well off to lie down for abit with the heating pad.... hope all have a great day, and my hugs to all of you,may you feel them across the miles, the ocean and green pastures .... :)
Checking in, he's not dead yet...on it goes. Mom left my blind pug in yard and neighbor kids were out talking AT him. Ba history here, I got mad Do NOT LEAVE HIM OUT ALONE! "The parents are out" That doesn't fing matter..."
Any how. another week another set of useless unwanted hateful burdens...what ever! It ain't Libya...
Got one for ya........Sis that brought her grandson to visit mom on her birthday pulled another one. She stopped by Sat evening, ate dinner and left. Mom kept me up all night and I'm thinking Sis will be here tomorrow with mom and I can nap. Hubby got up with her this AM and made her br/fast and let me sleep. I do love him! Slept until 9AM when I had to wipe her butt - no Sis!! Called her on cell and she is still at the beach because it was too cold to get in the water (it's f-ing MARCH) so she transferred her reservation from here to the beach and they swam in the heated pool and she stayed in hot tub (cause it's cheaper than therapy) - and I was hoping for a nap!!! Am I bitter - today, HELL YES!!! now it is 1 PM, just got a shower, mom gets her hair done at 2, and Sis hasn't made it here yet!! WTF!! So much for counting on anyone but myself. Just pissses me off. Can't even get a couple of hrs. GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Talked to the one in IL last night and she is mad at the other one like me, but she knows it is more work if she comes, so she doesn't know what to do. I want to scream - just come here for a week and tell me to leave!! But I didn't. She is sympathetic and had both parents for 3 mos. before my dad died, but she doesn't realize what YEARS can do to you. whewwwwwww - whining today, maybe I should just wine.......
Thank you, everyone. Ssk, it has stopped raining off and on and looks clear, but we are supposed to have more. Our front doors are off for refinishing; the wind was so noisy, but no cold because we had a heavy tarp taped up. Had to do it now because of the slab leak and water damage, and insurance company coming for inspection. I think you must be right, ssk, about the boat part. You sound very confident with your answer:) Taking Mother to psych this morning. If he doesn't come up with something new--like taking her off meds, or getting a blood work-up to see what her sodium and thyroid levels are, and he gives me his bs half hour lecture--telling me not to talk, "remember, it's a short appointment"--HA!--then I'm writing his final check and telling him 'thanks for the memories'. I'll just do one more thing myself. Now I need to have more patience because the weekday caregiver "who is not a morning person", is already impatient with Mother and she just got here 10 minutes ago. omg. I am so exhausted from all this.
Seemeride, etc: you missed the post where my sister does not drive over from the desert to see HER Mother(too) because it's windy and it might scratch her car, or she has a doctor's appointment "that week"--1 out of 5--so, guess she doesn't go to the market or shopping for clothes or out to lunch with her friends that week, either. She gave Mother spendy hand scrub and cream for Christmas and said "you'll get some use of it too, when you apply it to Mother". Wouldn't wrap a gift she brought for me (same last Christmas), because she said it was not a Cmas present. It was in a brown paper bag. I know, it's the thought that counts. I am so tired of these selfish, effing nut cases.
Seemer, Christina..... So know all about the selfish sibs ..... GRRRRRTTT. How dilusional am I, thought when dad passed that the one that lives 15 min away would step in with mom.... Yeah RIGHT.... NOT.....she was suppose to stop by yesterday, but oh no she had a migraine, must have been the week vacation in mexico that gave her the migraine. afterall, she has been through so much.... with dad passing.... needless she had seen him maybe 5 times in as many years. now i just dont sweat it... whatever....oh how i would love a vacation, my only vacation is the kidney stone i have, which entitles me to couch and heating pad time... oh that warm heating pad, i dream of the sun and the beach as i lay on it lol llol lol... I realize that i need to just find some humor, somehow....I know that mom and dad were most comfortable with me anyway. Although is def tougher than dad..... but my life is what it is... sucky at times.... but such is life..... ok back to my little beach called the couch, oh yea seemer... the wine with the whine is good.... one of my fav's lol lol
Christina sorry you are having a rough day here you a smile :0) Laddeda, use it to your advantage, be all like "oh, I can't get better until i rest off my leg for a while, can you help me do some things?" "Let's see, I need a gourmet meal, somestrawberry whine, a newspaper, can you hand me some tissues?" "oh by the way, Can you wipe my a$$?" And kiss it while your down there. ha ha. Bobbie it looks like a star screw in a nipply thingermajig. Did I come close?
Just thought I heard someone call out my name here at home. I said "Yeah?" a couple of times and then went and opened my mom's bedroom door. Said "Yeah?" and saw her robe and oh man...
Another thing happened. Hubby was driving really fast yesterday on the interstate and had the cruise control on. Just as we were coming up behind a car and a truck I think, the cruise went off all by itself before he actually hit the brakes. Wondered if it was his mom. Guardian angel maybe??
Hy guys I am so sorry for what you are going through Miz I am so sorry about your loss-you have been through so much in a short time, We had a surprise snowstorm this morning and the other day was doing yard workI am hoping and praying all your burden will be lighter today.
SSK, you are correct! That is the new bowthruster! Moving the boat in close quarters is so much easier! Easier to park! I mean dock. I like 'land' personally. As in: where we going to land this sucker? ....... Wright Brothers
Christina, you are not disrespectful of your mother. When they have NPD, BPD, etc, it's amazing that we don't say way worse. It's a mental issue and it just is. Don't you worry. who thought you were disrespectful? i bet nobody here....
Ladeeda, you have to heal. BG can FO.
Maxine! you are such an angel and hopefully this will be the last snow storm of the season.
jen! sorry. any minute now...... love you.
Allshesgot, I should have had that toothbrush bronzed. Best Toothbrush Ever.
Angie and Seemer and SS and Christina and Ted and all who have idiot siblings, my heart goes out to you all. it must be like dying of thirst in the desert and you know there's a cold glass of water almost within arm's reach if your sib would just shove it over to you. What selfish scum.
OK, off to find another wtf picture. Love those of you who thought of titties. pasties, nipples, etc. hilarious.
You girls are great. Thanks so much. I guess it was my turn today for love and support. Thank you, Bobbie, Ladeeda, LindaHeart, Miz, Angie, ASG, Seeme, SSK:) "WINNING" the prize for correct boat part.( Ooh can't help but think of Charlie Sheen when I said that. sorry. Is he still alive?) Couple of you mentioned Gary Busey. He seems normal to me now after Charlie Sheen's behavior. Miz: I have heard someone call out my name from time to time, before my Mother was living here. I would be in the kitchen, hear my name called, say, "Yes?", then walk into other room. It's not like it was someone outside or next door, as I am a sensitive, but not a "whoo whoo" kind of girl. I am sure it is something trying to get our attention, and I am open to it. I'd rather be a "WHOO HOO Girl", right HERE!! Whoo Hoo!! Love you guys. Thanks again. I am getting my second wind. Hugs, Christina PS: I'm glad I didn't guess the picture was a vagina with something stuck in it. That would have been embarrassing.

I'll scream right along with anyone else who has the need to do that. I am just exhausted....started by dogs getting me up at 5:30...couldn't go back to sleep. Hubby decides we are taking col to Red Lobster for lunch. Just effing great.....here we go again. So after I shower I run downstairs, clean her up, make her take the spiders off her eyes so she can put them back on, curl the back of her hair because she doesn't TOUCH that part of her head with anything resembling a comb or brush....tell her I will back the car down to her front door and she can just walk out.....do that and no col....wait....wait....wait....well schitt....get out of the car....she's looking all over the house for her dog....maybe I left him outside.....you're kidding right? So away we go.....order meal and hubby starts telling her to lean over her plate, food is going in her lap, she ignores him, tells her again, looks at me and says if she doesn't lean over I am going to put a bib on her....ok...tells her again, she won't do it....I said this was your idea.......and I get "we can't let her sit alone all the time".....OBMAJ.....just what the hell am I supposed to do....I have said she has no social skills anymore. The first thing out of her mouth when she sat down was....I want a Manhattan! Well I want a million effing dollars and I'm not getting that either. So hubby suggested after lunch we find a Hostess store and let her stock up on things......that's all I heard while driving there, guess she didn't want me to forget. She's stumbling around, turning in circles, completely lost.....get her back out in the car and she starts letting us know that she will just take her car somewhere to be fixed so she can drive where she wants...now where are we going...did you see something in the paper you want to go buy....let's go shoppy shoppy...... I damn near pulled off the road so I could choke her. Just shut up for a while please!!!!!!! Vegas trip cannot get here soon enough nor is it going to be long enough. I need to nap but that has to wait....got to go into town and meet my son when he gets off work....buying a new riding mower and he is going to load it up and bring it from the store. Son just called....check back later.
A group of 15-year-old girlfriends discussed where to meet for dinner. Finally, they agreed to meet at the Dairy Queen next to the Ocean View restaurant because they had only $6.00 among them and Jimmy Johnson, the cute boy in Social Studies, lived on that street.
10 years later, the group of 25-year-old girlfriends discussed where to meet for dinner. Finally, they agreed to meet at the Ocean View restaurant because the beer was cheap, the restaurant offered free snacks, the band was good, there was no cover and there were lots of cute guys.
10 years later, the group of 35-year-old girlfriends discussed where to meet for dinner. Finally, they agreed to meet at the Ocean View restaurant because the cosmos were good, it was right near the gym and, if they went late enough, there wouldn't be too many whiny little kids.
10 years later, the group of 45-year-old girlfriends discussed where to meet for dinner. Finally, they agreed to meet at the Ocean View restaurant because the martinis were big and the waiters had tight pants and nice buns.
10 years later, the group of 55-year-old girlfriends discussed where to meet for dinner. Finally, they agreed to meet at the Ocean View restaurant because the prices were reasonable, the wine list was good, the restaurant had windows that opened (in case of a hot flashes), and fish is good for cholesterol.

How can disrespect come in any where when a person has put their whole life on hold to look after someone who treats them like staff and/or with out right contempt. Where is the disrespect? Poop Jokes? Disrespect would be saying you will come and never showing up, giving un-wanted advice and ignoring real need, dropping all the work and responsibility onto someone elses lap and going on about your own life like you have done nothing wrong. this one comes up a lot here and I do understand, some feel it is wrong to discuss intimate details of some one's care behind their back, on the internet etc etc etc. I really don't care. I am in a situation where I have accepted the contempt I feel personally and as long as it doesn't effect the chores and care I have to perform I don't care. I am entitled to my contempt as far as I am concerned and what he doesn't know is none of his damn business even if it is about him. make jokes, tel tales and do what I have to do. It is what it is...till it isn't anymore...
For some, if it does make you feel bad, well don't say things, do what you do out of love and care and bless you. Damn me I don't care, shove that tooth brush you aren't living MY life...Come to think of it, neither am I...
Mama used the bathroom in her bed for the first time. When she got up it dropped out of her pj's because she won't wear panties. Then she must have kicked it because it was everywhere!!! I spent an hour cleaning her room and then another hour in the bathroom with her trying to get her in the tub. I hate my life...(she spits in the floor too, my carpets are ruined!!! I just want to scream). The poop incident reminds me of the milestones we look forward to in our children's lives, like being pottied trained, only now I'm in a backwards mode in the twilight zone....thanks for letting me vent....
welcome here jones , u have came to the right place . we have seravl that sounds like ur mom . sad isnt it ? they cant help it but golly so hard on u all . bless your heart , again welcome !!!
jsomebody- if i was in ur shoes i know for damn sure i be feeling what ure feeling . i dont blame u at all . i be hopin and prayin for the lord to take him away too ! makin me shiver to think if i had to live with him . i sure hope u get a jjob and get away from him as much as u can . ok put pa to bed so now what ? is there anything good on tv tnite ? sick and tired of this same ole routine , but then again i shall count my blessing , somebody mention snows a coming thurs , uhh plz noooo . im just startng to feelin like getting dirt under my nails , damn it all !!!

That is very scary. sometimes it's worse, too. Linda: I thought kt was mad at me. Guess it was someone else. I'm a mess today, but Mother is fine. Been crying in between picking out fabrics for my client. Hope I get some sleep tonight. going to bed early. Love to you, Lindaheart, and Ladeeda, and Miz, Rosella, SSK, ASG( i;m lazy) Captain and Nik, Cuz, Peach, Elizabeth, Selfish Siblings, PIRATE, CHILLOUT, SEEMERIDE, TED--where's da King? ANGIE, DIANE, DEEFER:(where deef?) JEN & RIP--my Pac NW buds. Did I leave anyone out? Not out of my HEART. William, dj, all other newbies I don't know YET. Love you guys. Thanks again for your love and support. HUGS christina xo
Hi guys, Miz I so belive stuff like thi happens, I believe they go to heaven or hell, I don 't believe they spend years and years haunting people, but I think for a time wierd things happen. Shortly after my MIL passed away, the first time I went to her grave checking to make sure it hadnt settled again, I had my pasenger door open getting flowers out of it(the city threw hers away 2 days after her funeral when they came to fill the grave back in after it had settled) and I walked over put the flowers down and stood over her grave crying cause I still could't believe she was gone and at some point I became aware the song "I believe there are angels among us" was playing LOUDLY from my van!! I don't mean the song came across the radio while i had my car door open. I always turn my radio down when I park somwhere it's habit, and I was pretty sure i didn't have the radio on to begin with. But I mean it was full blast. I didn't feel scared or creeped out I felt peacful like I hadn't felt before. I always blew people off when they said that kind of stuff, I'm kind of a "there must be a good explination kinda person" . ":They were just ditraught" but i think it happens.

A group of 15-year-old girlfriends discussed where to meet for dinner.
Finally, they agreed to meet at the Dairy Queen next to the Ocean View
restaurant because they had only $6.00 among them and Jimmy Johnson, the
cute boy in Social Studies, lived on that street.
10 years later, the group of 25-year-old girlfriends discussed where to meet
for dinner. Finally, they agreed to meet at the Ocean View restaurant
because the beer was cheap, the restaurant offered free snacks, the band was
good, there was no cover and there were lots of cute guys.
10 years later, the group of 35-year-old girlfriends discussed where to meet
for dinner. Finally, they agreed to meet at the Ocean View restaurant
because the cosmos were good, it was right near the gym and, if they went
late enough, there wouldn't be too many whiny little kids.

for dinner. Finally, they agreed to meet at the Ocean View restaurant
because the martinis were big and the waiters had tight pants and nice buns.
10 years later, the group of 55-year-old girlfriends discussed where to meet
for dinner. Finally, they agreed to meet at the Ocean View restaurant
because the prices were reasonable, the wine list was good, the restaurant
had windows that opened (in case of a hot flashes), and fish is good for
cholesterol.

because the lighting was good and the restaurant had an early bird special.

this one comes up a lot here and I do understand, some feel it is wrong to discuss intimate details of some one's care behind their back, on the internet etc etc etc.
Damn me I don't care, shove that tooth brush you aren't living MY life...Come to think of it, neither am I...
again welcome !!!
i sure hope u get a jjob and get away from him as much as u can .
