Bowthruster should be here by Monday, oh please please. I think that I am crazy because I have been under construction in some form or another for so long and I just hate it. dinghy ride later. You're right Linda... live in the country and don't put up with the citified idiocy. lovbob
Morning Friends, Deefer, I have heard of 3 reactions to holding breath, and I don't think you'd want to do them-cold water, slap, and ignore. Do you think she'll hold it till she passes out? Linda, I'm feeling the cows, and the bull on my shoulder. CG took the monitor last night, but I never sleep that well anymore. Too used to waking up every 2 hours. Can't be good for anyone. Things were quiet at 6:30 when I went down to get coffee, so maybe the new med kicked in. Bobbie, you need to get well-rested for Miz BoatTime! Maybe fruit juice fast for 3 days? You probably do that already, you so smart:) I'm gonna read last night now. Seems like a skeleton crew:( Well, we go with the flow at ebbtide, right Bobbie? Love you ALL, Hugs, Christina

I am choosing to not keep the house in nj. One of many many reasons is that when it snows they have an ordinance that says you have to have it all clear within 6 hours of the storm. Oh puleeze. None of the kids will shovel because this storm is so wet and the snow is heavy. now you have all these older ladies on fixed incomes out there shoveling because the pro services are $$$. The whole world is crazy. Boat!
Please!!! If you hear me say I'm going out to shovel, tell me NO!!!! Too sore to breath today!! Feel like I was run over by a very large truck!!! Maybe wrestling Mom around will loosen me up a bit. Just have to keep telling myself that I'm not 25 anymore! Hope everyone has a great day!
Okay, I'm back! Just had to roll Mom onto her side so she could rest a bit more. Still clamping her mouth shut! Thought maybe it was something she was doing because of the UTI, but she is better with the cipro, except for the breathing thing while she is in bed. I would take any suggestions you have to help with this behavior! There she goes again!
Hey True! Good for you! I could use a paycheck. What exactly do you do on your computer? Bobbie!!!! Company coming soon! That should lift your spirits! Glad you are feeling better. No gross out story this AM. That's a good thing, I think. Just wish I could get her to stop holding her breath!!! Does anybody else have this problem? She clamps her mouth shut and won't open it until she is purple, then it's a huge mouth fart as the air is expelled!
YAY!! paycheck! you're a genius!! congrats True and don't feel guilty about anything! hey..... is your company hiring?? We're here and you're here and it's going to be ok.
I still feel down and am doing my best. Linda, thanks for the hug. you're so good. How is Pa feeling today? any better? miz! GP! countdown!
ok you all know I love you and you all have a good day. I'll be in the background reading... lovbob

My sister used to live in Colorado Springs and we visited her there twice. Went up to Pikes peak and saw and area around the Royal Gorge where a lot of westerns were filmed. Gorgeous country!!! Pirate, those movies do sound good. the gnome one is intriguing! And Johnny Depp is fantastic in the Pirate movies!
Had to put the word out on my faaaavvv subject...the new Pirates of the Carribean Part 4 will be out in May....oh yes....and with Blackbeard..oh yes...cannot wait...go see the trailer on youtube...!
Also for you garden lovers...a new movie Feb 11 Gnomeo and Juliet --- all about Garden Gnomes..which I have a very very very large assortment of...cannot wait for it to come out...
Beverly Hills Chihuahua Part 2....looks really cute with Papi getting married to the girl chi....and its all about their family of new pups....I read today that Papi was actually rescued before he was to be 'put down' at an animal shelter..the director had researched for the right pup and when he saw (Rusco) he had to have him and almost missed getting him...story brought tears to my eyes...saved from death and now a movie star....oh if only they could all be saved!
True Grit...looks really good....seems they followed the storyline to it's original beat..hurrah! I watched the original one recently...what fantastic places they filmed at..on youtube someone has went back to all the places they filmed at to see what they would look like now...wow such beauty in this country!
I give my mom Miralax just a teaspoon of it...and sometimes Metamucil..but that fiber stuff if not drank right away turns into gell and no one wants to drink it them...yuck....
I tried Merallax on Mom and it gave her wicked diarrhea. It could have been a coincidence, I don't know. Her doc told me to give it to her. I didn't try it again after that. The diarrhea was so nasty and I worried she would get a UTI from it.
Merallax is good for constipation I am not sure if you need a script it takes a few days but if taken regularly it usually does the trick. They are already talking about our next storm-I feel quilty about not doing the drive but my babyblower does not work and my neighbors will not let me on the tractor and I did pay my dues.
j , i worked in factory for 10 yrs and it scares the shit out of me cuz i have to go inside the molding to take parts out , fear my hands would get slam shut . lookin over my shoulders al the time cuz those jerks drive them forktrucks like its indy 500 ! they finaly put a stop to that ! one ranover a older woman on first shift , i worked 3 rd shift . its always a fear when u start a job brand new , fear for nothing . i would love to be a barkery ! hell it beats staying home , dealin with fartpant . no fear my dear , just go put ur 8 hrs in and look forward for a paycheck and wooo hoo go shopping ! unless if u dont have bills to pay . besides you ll need to start ur 401 k plan for ur old age ! and pay toward ur social scerutiy . better do that now while ure able . im worried how am i goonnnaaa live when i get old , s s checks prob wont be enuff to buy toilet paper !!! xoxo
I bought prune juice, but haven't dared to give it to my Mom. One of these days I'll try it on her. Jen, you might like your coworkers, have fun there, and look forward to going, and not to mention the paycheck. Ted, have a great respite week. Christina, sorry about the stuff with your sister.
J, I reckon there is a risk with any job. I worry someone might bring a gun into my work and tell me to give them all the money. But, I really really doubt it will ever happen. I could get sick from handling money (who knows where it's been) and so on and so forth. I guess pick whatever scares you the least. What would you like to do the most? Do you like flowers and/or baking? I understand your fear, I really do. I deal with the public and sometimes it's hard. I just make myself do it. You will be fine. If you can deal with what you have dealt with at home all this time then you can do anything.
chillout, I used to give Mom stool softeners and they did not help much. If I tried anything stronger she had wicked diarrhea. It was frustrating. I never tried Metamucil though.
