Hi deef, that's the worst, when it turns to ice. And if you live on a hill, look out. We lived on a hill in Gardner, and were always getting stuck in winter. Good for sledding though. (for the kids)
Ssk, Still buried in snow here and now temps are dropping. Everything that was melting today is now ice! Got to get some sand from the town tomorrow. Ice Melt doesn't work so well in the colder temps. Got one lane traffic on our street until they do snow removal. Hey Kuli, How's your back coming along?
HI, I have found a lot of support here, and I hate to see the recent badmouthing of bobbie. The people who are saying negative things have never said anything suppportive to me when I have vented about whatever I was feeling, but bobbie always had a kind word or a humorous way of looking at the situation. That's all I'm saying . ssk
Wow - did I miss alot or what? Grossed out has been such a good place for me, I find it hard to believe that all caregivers going through or who have been through the same struggles don't see it the same way. Bobbie, if you hadn't started this almost 1 year ago, I truly don't know where I would be emotionally at this point. You have ALL given me so much love, support, understanding, compassion - I will never be able to thank you enough. I tell my staff at work and it applies here too - if we, such a small group can't find a way to get along, to accept each other's differences, etc - how can we ever expect there to peace around the world? I would also like to add - I have been thoroughly enjoying the jokes. Peach, cuz, Bobbie - too, too funny. Thanks for the smiles! Love and hugs to all, Kuli
yes, kathy. saw a chiropractor yesterday. good one. ultra sound, electroids, exrays. going back manana. mine is all muscles and tendons twisted. he said needs time but will heal. Miz--see my Egyptian Mau? started sitting on chair when I put laura birch pillow on it. heehee
What ever that is it sounds painful! I just got the Basic Health information on billing...if I didn't have Basic Health my simple little broken bones in ankle ride in ambulance would have cost over $2,000 dollars! And that is without the bootie I wear....Cuts in med insurance if I lose mine I think I qualify for Medicaid... Same crap here...and mom more and more irritated by her father....hehehe join the club ma...she hasn't done it a month!
Linda, It does have nuts! Christina,Were you the one who said you have to sleep with your arm over your head? I had rotator cuff surgery almost 2 years ago and I had to sleep that way when my shoulder got really bad. Your tendons rub on the exposed bone and cause tendinitis. Mine was so bad that the muscle in my upper arm detached itself. You really should see an orthopedic surgeon and get an MRI to make sure, before it gets worse.

Bobbie, that's a good one. I totally agree with it.
Christina, I'm so glad things are better with your mother.
I had an up and down day. Got my nails done for cheap. Sweet friend that does them. Then went and closed Mom's two bank accounts. I was okay until the one lady said, "I'm sorry for your loss." I was still okay but it made me sad...but it was nice of her to say it. That took all my time before work so I didn't get everything done. Had a very nice supper with my good friend. We exchanged Christmas gifts and I bought her supper for her birthday back in September. She got me and hubby a gift card to a local restaurant and a cute kitty jar (Sandy's colors) and a kitty key chain with places for pics of two cats. :) Came home and hubby is asleep now. It is SOOOO cold here. I wanna live where it's warmer!!!! K, gonna go have a smoke and then hang out on the puter for awhile.

Good Evening Crew, This was sent to me and I really liked it. Thought I'd pass it along.
This is from a teacher at Notre Dame.
The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971...before computers, before e-mail, before cell phones, etc.
Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure.
I'm asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.
In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.
Congressional Reform Act of 2011
1. Term Limits. 12 years only, one of the possible options below.. A. Two Six-year Senate terms B. Six Two-year House terms C. One Six-year Senate term and three Two-Year House terms
2. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.
3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people.
4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
7. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
8. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/11. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

Austin, AC monitors all the comments and does as Linda says. If they see profanity or personal info like e-mail and phone #'s etc. they delete them. The only other way something can be deleted, is by the person whose wall it is on. A member cannot delete something on anyone 's wall except their own.
austin , when something is deleted from the wall is cuz theres ph numbers or email addy , or the person that recieved the wall messages they can delete it , water softner guy came and fixed it , the filter was croweded full of lime , stones sand and dirt ,mud . whoa , sucks man , he told me i can buy a filter to prevent that to go inside the water softner , so shall meow that at hubby , be my luck he will say uh what filter blah blah . anyway am glad its fixed , dad ate bfast and said he s very very tired , yeah me too pa , u were up every hr all night long . so shall take a nappy poo later on , pa s sleeping good now , full belly . good jokes here , i like the one that shes only going 22 mph , lol . you all have a great day , xoxo
