I think a Christmas boil is in order here..................Magnolia I'm glad you had someone to take over for you every other month...made things a lot easier huh? Not everyone here has that luxury...it's a daily on-going job and not everyone has a strong supporting family to help out. If you never, for one second, felt some stress from care-giving then you are indeed a saint. And apparently have never had to explain things over and over and over....never been puked on, peed on, pooped on. I guess I'm a little testy because I just lost my Mom yesterday morning and my care giving continues because I care for my mother-in-law who should have pillow therapy several times a week.
"patrick , excuse me im a lit confuse here , you are taking care of you real bio mom"
Oh yeah she's mine, or rather I'm her's...I believe she still holds pink slip at ant rate...but she could have just as easily swapped my for bag of jelly donuts when my back was turned. Hey, she loves me, but we are takin' jelly donuts here!
Cripes ... I'm tired. Christina, the 7,500th poster, is a chef! My keyboard was suppose to add her name above. Seems I forgot. Had to tuck Sir into bed. Sunlight piss again today! The things that make you happy!!!
Jam maybe you can go with a tiara on?- you earned it for being the caregiver Lol...my g/f and her neice wore tiger material mickey mouse ears at her mother's memorial service. That was a new one for me! Disney-esk!
& she cooks!!! Did you see her credentials? Yum!!! (Will I ever spell correctly again? Everthing looks wrong!)
Pat, looks like you're walking up the right plank! It'll take days to understand us all but you ARE SAFE here. We acknowlegde our bad days & triumph if we have those rare good ones.
Hopefully soon you'll fill out your profile & look thru ours. It's barely a hint of who each of us are ... we promise to be nice to you ... unless of course .... nah. You already made us laugh.
If "Grossed" were a sitcom it's be in it's, maybe 9th season. Yeah, about right. That much stuff with so many people.
Already to 7,515 as I hit post comment. I guess this might be a chat room, Peggy

Peach I'm leaning towards not going and still telling them to "Bite Me"........I would love a tee that says OBMAJ. Cat's eyes fried in snot bobbie? ack...ack...ack...you all have lifted my spirits today!
Okay bobbie but you get my drift at the "no wagging da finger at us" here at no account. All of us here have suffered in our own way and levity is the best. I bet there is no other thread here that has collected such a lifetime of gems. I bet there is some money grubbing sh*thead out there copying all of this to make an excellent book sell. I bet aging care knows what a gem this thread has become....better than facebook or twatter or myspace or any of that crap. It's really heart and soul spilled out here in between laughs and jokes about what we have to overcome. Geezus too bad you can't go back and add an adendum to the beginning statement like a warning! LOL...yes bobbie one day we will sit and have a few drinks - in fact some more of the crew as well!
I know the overwhelmed feelings as well as everybody here. Was the reason I started this particular thread was because I knew I wasn't alone and if i didn't laugh I was going to be dead.
Vent on, post on, whatever you want/need to do. We're here.
Okay me... I'm taking care of my very best girl, we all call her Mama, and by that I mean not just her son here, but anyone who has ever met her. She's going to be 89 in about a week, and I've been her primary caregiver for the last almost seven years. She's my buddy, she's my pal, and was even my best "man" when I was married, so you see, no this isn't degree program for me, as a matter of fact, most days, I feel I'm waayyy in over my head...and you wouldn't much care for me for a lazy Sunday brunch, as I'm rather chewy, and most likely would give one gas...then again, there is no accounting for taste.
Miss Magnolia has a dementia diagnosis for herself and she is in the beginning of understanding what that means to her. she's looking straight down the barrel.
Other than that you were brilliant. lol Still into getting schnockered with you on the Barbara B.
Patrick, did you say Goofball? oh, my absolute favorite, Goofball.
theres like maybe 3 or 4 guys that comes on here venting out and gross out too , :-) cant wait to read ur profile when u get em done . again welcome goofball , :-)
Thank you too lhardebeck for the welcome! Do I take it there aren't many guys on here, or it's we're just really needed...you know, for litter detail and such ;-) ? It'll take me awhile to get used to this layout, so please be patient with me. Oh, and I don't intend to seem like a butt, butt best intentions and all that stuff ya know? I'm a goofball for the most part, okay, I'm 100% goofball (feel better, I know I do), and just trying like everyone else to wrap my head around so much stuff...I'm truly glad I found this site, and Ive already learned a great deal more than I thought I would, so in advance I would like to say, thank!
