how do u all think your mothers would feel if they knew that you were online telling all the things they do that u think is so gross.I took care of my mother ,my twin sister and I took a month at a time. everyone in our families(our children and husbands)were very patient with her. We tried to see the humor in the things.)We showed her love and kindness , which I'm sure u do. Sure, we got tired but I didn't want to see her go , when it was her time. In whatever state she was in, she was a blessing from God.You will have plenty of time to enjoy the rest of your life after she is gone. Just pray that u don't have the same fate as hers. If so, I hope you have children that are understanding and will do the same for u.
If that's all u have to complain about with her you are fortunate. I just wish I had my mother back to do all those thing that u seem to think is gross. Just love her and laugh with her if she still laughs. You can always buy another toothbrush. U can't get another mother.
Geez, Tenny. Sorry that your idiot brothers couldn't be different, more like your dad. Lil is so sweet. They are missing out. Sounds like it's best they are far away. Hope there are some decent men around ....
Glad to see Pirates back on.Thats o.k. J. MY memories of my dad are mostly good-thats why I miss him so.I don't miss him working me to death-but he was a work addict and expected everyone elese to be.Working was recreation to him,he loved farming more than anything-did not like a slacker. If he could hook a plow to his wheelchair he would have done it.He was the only person that I could trust 100%.He would yell at me- I would speak my mind and yell back, then we would be cool and eat dinner. My brothers claimed that me and my dad kept secrets from them, but my dad said it wasn't our fault they never were around.A mother at the school asked me recently why Daughters dad never came to plays, school functions, etc.[implying he wasn't good dad]When I told her he died, she felt stupid-real uncomfortably stupid.I'm not a Clicker and it is very clicky school. It may sound silly but dad was the greatest man I've ever known and I like talkin about him.My daughter likes talkin of her dad also. Its all Good.Brothers a different story.
Deef? Listening friend? Ted.. where ever you are ...
The ideas keep coming in. Wish I could afford a T Shirt screen set up until we can sub out. Should have bought one when the collegue went under. Too poor ....
My choice for the appropriate T-shirt is the saying, "IT'S ALL ABOUT ME". And give them each one for Mother's/ Father's day this coming year. On the back, you can put, "Caregiver's Do It ALONE--without the f--ing idiot on the front of the shirt." Oow, does that sound nasty? HeeHee. I'd love to give one to my sister, and my brother. Maybe I will.
miz, that's a good idea for a t shirt for annoying family members. I am trying to think of a "passive agressive" way to get back at my bro , like giving him something to drink that will make him sick, not poison or anything. glad you have some time off work. ssk
tenn , do u have facebook ? ted finaly gave in and joined it and now he disappeard ! mmm maybe he s on his way to bobbies boat ? its neat to get on fb at late night , bored outta mind and get to chit chat with rip , nancy , peachie, deefer , quite few others true color ssk , now come on who eles ?? oh yes jsomebody ! ted , its realy a uplifting therapy !
You guys are disgustingly gross tonight,I'm not like Bobbie-I'm a light weight,I'm already on the verge of upchunking, hoping to upchunk at city hall today, but no such luck.I'm so bad I cry at Disney movies even when the kids aren't,even though I knew its a movie,I'm very impressionable .Ole Yeller gets me everytime.
Hubby and I saw a guy wearing a t-shirt at the local county fair one time and it had a current politician (at the time) and it said, "F@#%ing Idiot". We thought it was hilarious. Maybe some could do that with pics of family members. ;)) Sorry...
Hubby and I went out to dinner and just got home a bit ago and I just saw all the posts. OMG, wow!! It will take me an hour to catch up. Pirate, thank you so much for your kind words about me losing my mom. I miss her from when she was still with it and I miss her from when she wasn't. She was always my biggest fan.
So, I'm off work for 3 days. woo hoo. I need to get on here and go back and read from when my mom went in the hospital. Hopefully, this weekend.
Jam,Gotta respect a gun toteing woman,as I'm sure ya'll know most Southerners are born with guns in their hands. Daughter got 22 rifle for Xmas and going start lessons after New Years.
Hey everybody, still alive, feel like pure crapola, makes me want to b!!!!!!!CH,went to city hall with my germs and gave them hell,so I'm good enough to gripe, house is loaded with chocolate, haven't had one chocolate kiss-I DON'T remember ever losing my appetite for chocolate.Haven't caught up yet saw alot of BiTE ME'S in posts.I have a old Guns & Roses T-SHIRT.on the back says (GET IN THE RING MUTTER FUTTER] or something like that-think I will wear it to the city hall
uhh ?? i won ?? wow , i so wish i could zoom to bobbie s boat by 8 pm tmr . oh how i wish i wish , cant leave my pa behind , sniffff made ham n beans for supper , pirate , u do have ur hands full and sounds like u have another new job on ur hand ! your aunt !! im sorry to hear about ur cuzin passin away . oh my goodness . just one thing after another ,. bam bam bam. went to walmart and people standin in midle of isle blahblah blah , had to go around em before i bite them , hurried out of walmart , on way home i thought oh crap forgot to get 16 beans soup and eggs and onion , so went to marsh and got em instead . sat out in the car and called my childhood girlfriend and yack with her , watching people go in and come back out with one or 2 bags , bet they forgot something at walmart too . like i did ,it was good talking to my gfriend , i love to hear her laugh she realy snap me out of depressions ,,, i was gone for an hr and half . felt good too , now my stomach just dont feel right , hope im not catchin what pa had , coughin gaggin germs all over me , ah i gues its worth it cuz he is feeling better and looks beter but still so tired , when i am in a bad mood , i get on here and read and smile and giggle . when i feel so lonely i get on this and i dont feel so alone . isnt this great ! thanks bobbie ! and thanks to who started this website . tenn , hope ure feeling better . jam . ur siblings sounds like they need a smack in the hindend . and i am so sorry now u have ur hands full with mil . geeze ! i honeslty dont think i could care for my mil . when my dad goes to a better place i dont think i will take care of anybody cuz im going on a roadtrip and take care of me me me .... then i ll get a job , blah , where in the world is ted at ? was he planning to go on a road trip or something ?
one day I sent mil outside to clean her doggies butt.....packed with poop. so bad once he couldn't potty cuz it was so caked on. anyway, she does the job then comes in and sits on couch. I have been cleaning her house and I notice blood and brown spots suddenly appear all over the white leather sofa! She licks her finger, wipes at it, then commences to tell me that doggie must have a tumor on his bottom that is bleeding......you cut him with scissors you nitwit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And no she didn't wash her hands until I had to tell her to......oh my!
Hey Deef, ew...and I am glad I am not eating...I mean ew...This is NOTHING like raising children. No toddler would lick a finger to pick up filth off the floor to put in there mouth...Sounds like pica almost...ew on a stick...
Jam. So sorry for the loss of your mom. I'm with you and your husband! There are 7 of us, and I am the one with Mom and very little help from the rest. Four of us have already decided not to have a service or calling hours for Mom. It's not something she wants either. We have 1 sister who would weep and wail just for show, and a brother whose wife would do the same. Neither the sister or the brother ever visit,"can't stand to see her like that" for an excuse. Sorry! No show when Mom dies! We will each honor her in our own way. Pirate, Mom's house needs a good cleaning and mine needs it even more, but I have deadbeat sibs that I'm leaving the crud for. Just waiting for one to comment on the condition of things when they decide to visit. I'll have the vacuum ready!!! I have enough trouble keeping her clean and doing her laundry and cooking her meals. Keep putting your own little touches in the house. It will be ready for you to move in someday! As for gross outs...The only thing that turns me off is puking!!! Yuck!!! I finally got used to taking Mom's teeth out of her mouth without gagging! As for poopy...Well, let's just say I'm a pro at that! Can clean up a mess right in the middle of eating a meal and go right back to my food. Sad!!! My idea of fun, is telling all the gross out Mom stories to my sibs when they visit, and of course I wait until we are eating!!! Nasty, ain't I !!!!! As for boogers, Mom blows her nose and then wipes the table with her dirty tissue. When I am cleaning up a poopy mess and she gets mad at me, she will rub it on me!! She no longer gets a drink with her meal because she puts the food into her glass instead of her mouth. Now she wets her finger to pick up something off the floor and puts it into her mouth! And if you give her food in a wrapper, she leaves the wrapper on and eats it! Anyway, just saying, save your really gross stories for your family. They just love them!!! Rip, we'll find a way to market all of our talents somehow. Lil Tenny, Take care of Mom! Welcome new people! Didn't take notes when I was reading all the posts, so I forgot your names, sorry! Linda, Hate husbands when they tell you to take care of yourself, but take their own advice. Hope you got out and let off some steam. SSk, Nice weather up here today. Hope you got out for a while. Peach, get your wrist checked before you do more damage to it! Bobbie, we should create a logo for X-mas boil! Hope you had a nice birthday! Got to go make Mom's dinner, then something for us.
