Based on your preferences, we provide you with information about one or more of our contracted senior living providers ("Participating Communities") and provide your Senior Living Care Information to Participating Communities. The Participating Communities may contact you directly regarding their services. APFM does not endorse or recommend any provider. It is your sole responsibility to select the appropriate care for yourself or your loved one. We work with both you and the Participating Communities in your search. We do not permit our Advisors to have an ownership interest in Participating Communities.
II. How We Are Paid. We do not charge you any fee – we are paid by the Participating Communities. Some Participating Communities pay us a percentage of the first month's standard rate for the rent and care services you select. We invoice these fees after the senior moves in.
III. When We Tour. APFM tours certain Participating Communities in Washington (typically more in metropolitan areas than in rural areas.) During the 12 month period prior to December 31, 2017, we toured 86.2% of Participating Communities with capacity for 20 or more residents.
IV. No Obligation or Commitment. You have no obligation to use or to continue to use our services. Because you pay no fee to us, you will never need to ask for a refund.
V. Complaints. Please contact our Family Feedback Line at (866) 584-7340 or ConsumerFeedback@aplaceformom.com to report any complaint. Consumers have many avenues to address a dispute with any referral service company, including the right to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office at: Consumer Protection Division, 800 5th Avenue, Ste. 2000, Seattle, 98104 or 800-551-4636.
VI. No Waiver of Your Rights. APFM does not (and may not) require or even ask consumers seeking senior housing or care services in Washington State to sign waivers of liability for losses of personal property or injury or to sign waivers of any rights established under law.I agree that: A.I authorize A Place For Mom ("APFM") to collect certain personal and contact detail information, as well as relevant health care information about me or from me about the senior family member or relative I am assisting ("Senior Living Care Information"). B.APFM may provide information to me electronically. My electronic signature on agreements and documents has the same effect as if I signed them in ink. C.APFM may send all communications to me electronically via e-mail or by access to an APFM web site. D.If I want a paper copy, I can print a copy of the Disclosures or download the Disclosures for my records. Well it looks like we will be going to St. Louis. Hubby feels much better. So, our plane takes off at 12:45 pm Central Time. It will take about an hour to get there. Then we go to the hotel and then the game is 8:00 pm. It will be on ESPN2. We will be sitting WAY up high. Doubt you could see us on TV but you never know. I'm gonna feel bad leaving the kitties alone for overnight. They are not used to that. Just gotta leave clean litter boxes for them and plenty of food and water and pray they don't get into mischief. I'll be taking extra anxiety meds to fly. It's a smallish plane. Kinda can't believe we are going. Lots to do this morning. Thank goodness I got all the Christmas presents wrapped to take to hubby's parents on Friday. Angie, we're there with you. I know how difficult it can be. Feel our hugs and feel us in your heart.

I have worked most of the night and I am reading your posts all together now. I see you have messed up a lot with photos! It'll take a week before i "learn" the new ones. Bobbie, it that is your boat, I see I will have a lot of brass to polish. Congratulations, BTW J, forgive me, your mother is already starting to give you trouble? If I were you I would tell her "Calm down, otherwise I go to the basement and see you tomorrow.. You stay with your father". I think you have to make clear - right away - that she will not be the only one to make decisions at home. Angie.... I know it seems strange. Seems that people sometimes choose the day of their death. My father was a very organized person., He died on 5/9/95 and he died some minutes before 10 a.m, I could bet he died at 9.55 My uncle (his brother) who liked to joke and was a very nice and witty person, choose to die on April 1st, which in Italy is the day where you do pranks to other people. And I could give you other strange examples. I have not decided yet which will be mine; but it must be in summer and absolutely at noon.

I try and tell myself it could be worse. there are people trapped in abusive homes, children in wars, people dying in pain and alone, it could be worse but this is pretty bad for me just now...And no end in sight....

Is grandpa home yet..well that's a n,o so that was a positive thing I think...:) on and on...what are you watching? I had on the Tim Burton Alice In WOnderland...she hated it, too bad its almost over at five get over it I swear, fart pants gets home she freaks you take the dog, don't spray that stuff till after Grandpa gets inside I mean what the hell is her problem?...He stinks up the crapper comes out and finds the Alice movie alarming, maybe if I watch " The Rocky Horror Picture Show" he'd have a heart attack and die!? Everything can't be little house on the prairie you jack ass~!
