Bobbie, I thought all you said would be true also. The first lawyer said we were holding crops hostage, put lock on gate. I did that, thats when she got lawyer and my lawyer called me up yelling asking why I LOCKED her out. I REMINDED him I followed his advice, which he never took responsibility for.Thats when I went to lawyer no. 2-He said I ALSO have to let her get her crops.Beleive me round-up was the first thing in my mind, now I'M hoping the animals are going to feast out.According to the lawyer she is a sub-leaser of the guy who previously had the farming rights. My contract states no sub-leaser with out written consent.I kicked him off,but they say I can't kick her out.I'll goggle when we get home.

Hi Tennessee,

If the squatter planted on your land it's yours. Take the harvest, block the harvest or kill the plants close to harvest.

Here's a few ideas:
2 words for ya. Round Up. (Monsanto)

Call Monsanto and tell them that she is violating their genetic patents by using second generation Monsanto seeds.

(Watch the documentary: the Future of Food)

Also Google Monsanto and learn how insane they are when they think that a farmer has used their 'genetic patents' on land, whether it's true or not, they will descend on the land and sample everything. They have a bunch of lawyers that will make hers look like pikers. Might as well use the corporate jackasses to your own benefit.

Or, plow it all under. It's your land. You can pave over it if you want.

Call others with the right equipment and tell them that they can have the crop yield if they can get it in time.

Try to get out of looking at it so closely and look at it globally.
That means screw the gossip and crap and act like an executive making executive decisions.

I bet you have farmers in that church that would love a big crop of soybeans and corn. Probably would be happy to split the profits with you. They harvest and you both go to market.

bottom line? She doesn't get the harvest. Block it, destroy it, pee on it. whatever you need to do. She does not get the harvest. It's yours.

Good morning, going to church soon.Bobbie, coperate woman planted soy beans and corn.Everyone says if I take her to court to make her pay,I'LL be out of more money than she owes.My doctor says coperate types are ruthless and thats how they make money by taking advantage of the small person. I guess our whole nation is being taken over by the coperate types, even in the most rural of spots.I guess contracts are only good for the rich.I was stunned when I reported the scam to the agriculture office and they ignored it-I guess Federal Frued is o.k. for some not for others. Lord knows I didn't invent corruption, was around before I was born. Our power here in the United States origanated from the ground up-now its from the corporations on down. OCTOBER THE 2 was the day Jeff went to Vanderbilt and got his bladder rebuilt and at the same time they decided to take his prostate[nothing was wrong with it] October the 2 was the end of my life as I knew it,it was the day the music died.

Happy AFTER Birthday, Miz!!!
Sweet!

I've been thinking ...
anyone who knows me, hears me say that , says "oh -oh..."

oh well ...
We are creative. Most stuck at home. So many unused talents that need inspiration ... which we find here on Grossed & other venues.

The theme is:
CareGiver Creations ~
start thinking...

There is too much wasted talent on this thread. We need to spread the market.
How?

Eric Burden's song "We Gotta Get Outta this Place" ... "Girl, there's a better life for me & you..."
just came up on the radio. Appropriate.

Now the song "Feeling All Right" is on.

Well it wasn't my birthday today but my hubby made it my birthday. When it was my actual birthday he didn't have the money to spend. After lunch he surprised me with a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake, a card, and a 24K gold toe ring, something I had been wanting. I hope he got a good deal on it. It was a very nice surprise. Card was very cute too. :))

Miz, you are right. You can't stop smoking when you are under stress. Doctors advise to stop smoking when you are on vacation!!! Is any of us on vacation?
It is a stress to stop smoking, so you have to do it when you are peaceful enough. Being a heavy smoker too, the only advice I can give you is not to inhale too much, and, if you can, every time you want to light a cigarette, ask yourself if you really need "that" one. I do like this, and this spares me 4 or 5 of the 20-25 I smoke every day!
Georgia, I hope you have sent that psychologist or whatever she is, to hell. THere are better ones, trust me!
It is cold, here. Almost winter!
What a tragic stories about the death of our relatives! There are so many things I want to forget. When I think of my father I try not to think of his last days of life. They were very painful. I guess it is the usual filter I put between the reality and myself!

Happy Saturday Ladies,
Miz, Beer an aquired taste? Never! lol. Glad you ended up paying less at the DMV. I haven't had a cigarette in 7 yrs. but am forever chewing the nicotine gum & dragging on the nicotrol inhaler (my pacifier). Oral fixation I guess. Keeps me from biting folks heads off. lol.
GP, Thanks for the tip on the rice heat/cold pack. It just so happens I have lots of old bluejean legs left over form cuttoffs. Glad I kept them now.
Your new therapist sounds like she's doing a cookie cutter analysis without actually listening. I'd drop her in a heartbeat but that's me. You have to decide whether or not you think she will be of any benifit to you. That is the deciding factor.
Is a UTI different than a bladder or kidney infection? If there is no UTI but still bacteria? Could be a number of things, but doc will find out. Be well soon dear.
Linda, Whoopee, no pee! Glad you had a dry day. You aren't feeding your pa asperagus are you? Now THAT makes for some STINKY PEE! My hub loves it, but I tell him it's just because he wants to assault my nose with the stinky pee! lol.
Tenn, Glad you are taking care of you now. Your daughter will thank you for it later. I would suggest you ease into it in order to stick with it. Don't forget the walks....good for you in every way. You & daughter can go to your local/state parks & make a day of it. Pack a nice light lunch & take plenty of water. A nice leisurely stroll & stop to smell the roses type days. B vitamins are important for stamina, nervous system. Most folks don't get enough B12 and other B vits.
I for one don't seem to lose weight without physical labor. The park I have volunteered to garden at has become that labor. I told one of the park rangers yesterday that I'm losing a tire...he said "Oh no, on your car?" to which I replied "No, on my waist!". lol. He didn't know how to respond to that!
Pirate, Rosella & Deef, All in there with the never enough thing. Peace be with you ladies.
Jsome, How else are you supposed to get him back up? You have no choice but to call 911. Elders fall all the time....like you said, it's part of their job & EMS is trained for it.

Once again I hurt myself at the park yesterday. Woke up twice with lockup screaming cramps in my ankles last night. Put some icy hot linament on them & it subsided eventually. I'm not a puppy anymore & still over extend my limitations. But the gardens at the park are really taking shape & looking good! lol.
The alternate caregiver that mom hasn't seen in a few months took her to a fancy dinner last night & I need to call to find out how much fun she had. Mom has actually been pleasant to be with lately & I'm really counting my blessings.

Hope you all have a blessed weekend.

deefer, how sad! I'm so sorry that you had to go through that with your Dad! 54 is really young to lose a parent.

My Dad was 78 & took a really bad fall that ended him up in the hospital where he aspirated food & got pneumonia, which is what took him. He had been disabled for 20 years before that with a degenerative spinal disorder, but him actually dying after just a few days in the hospital was a shock.

Thanks Rossella! I agree! She's a piece of work! Yes, she's pretty young & has a problem with her being the authority...She is arogant. Yes, I've had some pretty bad experiences with medical personnel in general lately. There have been a few that have been nice, though. The new med that the Urologist gave me seems to be working better...I only had to get up 3 times last night to tinkle! Sleeping that much straight through was heaven! Things will get better!

Tennessee, Sad story! My dad died of a massive heart attack at home. Husband and I were just getting ready to go to bed, around 11:30, when we heard a loud bang coming from my parent's apartment. As I ran for the door, my 17 year old sister was running to our side of the house. She said Dad was on the floor. I picked up the phone and dialed 911, but my husband grabbed it from me and I ran next door. Found Mom on the floor holding Dad in her lap. Ambulance came within minutes and started CPR. They worked on him in the hospital for an hour, but he was gone at the young age of 54! My brother who is 2 years younger than me, myself, and my 17 year old sister were all at the hospital with Mom. My grandparents were at home with my 13 year old brother and my husband was with our 18 month old daughter.
We got home around 1AM, and I spent the next hour calling my brother in Texas, and my sister in Virginia. Mom was in shock, as we all were. My youngest sister, her boyfriend, and my other sister's friend drove out to Boston at 2AM to tell my other sister who worked at Logan Airport. She was 21 at the time, and lived alone, so I didn't want to call her with the news.
After a couple hours sleep, I had to call the rest of the family. Dad had 3 sisters and 2 brothers that I had to talk to.
It was very sad, and a shock to us all, but we did not have to sit and watch him suffer, and were grateful for that as time went on.

Georgia, I had missed your post. That doctor you talked about is unbelievable. Has she listened to any word you said? Is she very young, is she unexperienced? Otherwise, you can't explain why she said all the rubbish she said.
You are having very bad experiences with medical doctors, lately, haven't you? They are not all like this. Keep looking for better ones!
