I'm tired of cooking/preparing 3 meals a day. It's just the two of us but boy oh boy can that woman eat!! She stays slimish, I get fattish. It's bad enough I do everything here much less start making her one thing and me the other. At times I feel guilty when I buy her fast food cuz of the nutritional value....not to mention I eat it too.
Taking a form of medical shorthand, I loved writing 000 on the office calendars!

See what you can make a double batch of and freeze some for a day or 2 week break. Also if she eats a lot have carrot sticks or other fruit/veg snack and that is all you say is in the house to eat, not a cooked second helping.
But that which the bible speaks of refers to eating bloody meat.
But they interpret it as abstaining from blood period. But they use to believe also that they should not take medicine, but now it's ok. But their truths have changed over the years so eventually a blood transfusion will probably become ok.

We know a couple of JW, it is sad and IMHO it is a cult.
And I agree why try and convert if only so many are going to make it. They think it's 144,000. I believe their are way more JWs than that.
But the scripture they speak of is talking about 144,000, 12,000 from each tribe of Israel, all virgins. That doesn't constitute the make up of heaven just that number they state. And I don't think that all JW qualify as virgins. Just sayin'
I've never understood a religion where they preach only a certain number of people will make it to Heaven and yet they go around trying to convert others. Wouldn't that make their odds even less. Boggles my mind!
my Husband and Mother in our home. I wouldn't feel guilty if once in a while I didn't cook and gave my husband fast food. My Mother won't eat it so I do have to make her something. My husband is in a hospital bed and can't walk, he is end stage kidney failure. My mother is 90 and so set in her way's you have to make her meal's.
And those door to door salespeople who tell me that my "husband" had ordered new siding or new gutters. They also pull that on my sig other, saying that "his wife" had ordered work to be done. I hate that scam !!

our governments don't want other governments having any access to our data. They want to keep control of it themselves.
But when you look at the average civil servant, and you look at the average web developer, who is going to win this race? If governments of any description anywhere in the world think they can take control of this technology now they just haven't been paying attention. They're thirty years too late.
IF you do end up deciding to buy her the cellphone, maybe it's time to discuss with hubby first some rules. This will be her 3rd and last 'free' expensive cellphone from her parents. If she loses/breaks it, the next cellphone will be the cheapest, low-end wi-fi cellphone. No ifs, ands, or buts. Explain that she's an adult now. She's going to have to learn that money doesn't grow on trees... I've noticed with fave niece that when she uses her own money to buy stuff, she is very super protective over it. When her parents buy it, she's not as careful with it as she ought. Not saying that this is like your daughter... Just my observation with my nieces and nephews.
