My PET scan results are CLEAN! No new cancer was found anywhere in my body. The ambiguous but suspicious liver activity seen in the last scan was not seen at all in this one, meaning it wasnt real to begin with. Last scan also showed severe issues in my FEET (Not cancer related) indicating I had a big plantar injury, which is not true either. My feet are fine 🤣 So who knows WHAT transpired in that scan on Aug 18th? Just glad I'm okay and no more scans for 3 months, thank God.

Thanks so much everyone!

Chuck had to take the washing machine apart so it could be cleaned out after 20 years and I found a dime underneath It! That's the first one I've found since Jan in the ER. So I'm taking it as a good sign to come of my PET scan on Monday. Dr C will call me to discuss the results that afternoon.

And along with praying that this last day of Sept. is a good day for you, we are all praying that your PET scan goes well on Monday and that there are no new signs of cancer.
We are asking this in the mighty name of Jesus and thanking Him in advance for making it so.

October is just around the corner, I truly hope it is a much better month for you Lea.

I just googled 87F (30C, yeah hot).

It's 24C here now (75F) looks very nice but the sun is already very intense & at burning flesh temp after 10:00am. A hot, fire-likely summer predicted.

Wishing you a cool day 😎

Thanks sp! I'm waiting to have one good day this month 😑 Not a single one so far.

Tomorrow is my appointment with Dr C and Monday is my PET scan so that's keeping me on edge.

I hope everyone is doing well. We're enjoying 87 degree temps here the past few days but I'm ready for it to stay cooler.

Mayday, I know it feels overwhelming, but the people in our group did very well with their liver and/or kidney transplants. Some had complications, including my dh Chuck, but we all went home within 6 weeks of transplant. We were out of state at the Mayo Clinic in AZ staying in a hotel for the duration, so it was even more discombobulated for us, having to drive 2 days to get home with Chuck in the back seat. I take it you'll be local?

I bought a pill organizer for Chuck here:

https://a.co/d/aZRt1LH

We would sit down at the kitchen table with all the pills and the lists of meds and fill the pill boxes, one at a time. It's scary at first, but soon you become a pro.

Feel free to pm me any time with questions or concerns.

I am sending you two prayers. I think we will be doing a transplant soon...

:( Not looking forward to it. Not sure how hubby will do after it is done, that is if he gets cleared. Doctor painted a rough picture.. He may not make it on the transplant list in time.

It's going to be a long haul... I can't even keep track of the measly 5 pills he has to take at the moment, some one time a day, and others twice a day...

I have to figure out how to get organized.... My first hurtle to figure out.

Yw Ty. What you're going thru is very difficult I know. Sending you hugs and hope for more peaceful days ahead. Remember my mantra, ask yourself "What is wrong at this very moment?" to talk yourself down. If mom is breathing that morning, nothing is wrong at that very moment.

I went back to the Opthamologist today & the Iritis inflammation in my eyes is still going on. He gave me 2 prescriptions, one for more steroid eye drops to use for 4 to 6 weeks this time and some antibiotic ointment for the troublesome lids. 😑

Geaton, you are right about the amethyst rocks and how crazy it is such beautiful things are hidden inside ugly exteriors. 😁

Hi Lea!!! Hope you're having a good day. Visiting with a toddler is always good for a smile or three! Thank you for responding to my post the other days with such good advice and patience. Hugs to you for that! :)

Hi LL! Thanks for the check-in. Glad nothing is "worse". My granddaughter is a little over 2.5 yrs old... such a fun age. My son (her Dad) shamelessly regales me with cutesy videos at least once a day. I love looking at polished rocks and gemstones, too. Amethyst geodes are so beautiful (and huge)... it's my birthstone so maybe I'm partial ;-) I never get tired of admiring them and pondering how such beautiful things are hidden inside ugly exteriors. (((hug))) !

Just plugging along over here. Nothing is better or worse, just the same. Tomorrow I go back to the Opthamologist bc my eyes are still bothering me a lot. I did cancel my IVIG for the 29th but will still see Dr C that day.

We saw my grandson on Sunday (2.5 yrs old) and that was fun. My son brought me some rocks and crystals from the Gem and Mineral show they went to, and that was nice. The amethyst sitting on my window ledge catches light so beautifully.
