Golden, Tupperware use to make them. I haven't seen them in years, was always a good idea. Might be easier to make stuff burgers. Sometimes, I make 2 flat patties , then put , cooked onions and peppers, sometimes cheese also, then put them together. They are really good.

I meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and the last bag of my farm frozen corn,😞. Still got some farm spinach , from last year I gotta use up soon.

Daisy - Your stuffed burgers sound really tasty! Meatloaf is always good. Keeping track of what's in the freezer can be a challenge.

Cold rotisserie chicken with a salad - arugula, grape tomatoes, zucchini, scallions, and raspberry vinaigrette.
After I have had a meal of hot rotisserie chicken I like to take the meat off, stick it in a baggie and use it for salads or whatever and freeze the carcass for soup later. The meat seems to stay moister that way.

Pan fried salmon. persian cucumbers sauteed in ginger and garlic, cabbage and carrot fritters. Yogurt and strawberries for dessert.

I have to confess i finally broke down and bought some allergen free chocolate glazed donuts - cake type - and ate two of them. 🍩🍩

I am debating with myself if it was worth it. Haven't had any for about 2 years. I guess I will figure it out by the time I finish the other 4 in the package.😜

chili quesadilla
Turn over uncooked tortilla in pan; add a bit of canned Chili con carne; add two cheeses freshly grated, fold over in thirds after very lightly browned, not even, microwave 22 sec. done!

That was lunch, veggies for dinner: zucchini & yellow squash, mushrooms, carrots
coming up at 8:00 p.m. I was still hungry, ordered from Instacart delivery.costco.

Arrived in 30 min., very unusual-I am so encouraged taking care of business and staying home!

Went online to find some green beans and they did not have any.

Not dinner, breakfast; a nice BLT with watermelon.

The watermelon and cantaloupe have been so delicious this year. Oh and the nectarines, labeled as yellow peaches, were the best we have had since we harvested some 10 years ago from the orchard. Juicy and sweet and tart, mmmmmmgoood!

It's been a long time since I've had a really good cantaloupe or watermelon, the stuff they ship up here must be picked weeks before it's prime and no amount of waiting can ever fix that. And for some reason buying anything local in season generally means paying double what the imported crap costs.

Cwillie, we are blessed being so close to the growing fields. I am sad for you that you can't get good ones, such a nice summer treat.

Oh, one thing that I do if I get an icky watermelon, I blend it into juice, freeze it an enjoy the sweetening that this creates in a slushy drink.

I have been craving ice cream for a week or so.

Hey, it's summer! 🍦

I haven't had any for a couple of years so today I bought some dairy free coconut almond mocha bars and had a couple for supper with some strawberries, a cookie and a piece of dark chocolate. 🍓🍓🍓🍪🍫. My waistline is expanding as I write!

There's two more in the package and then that will be me good for another year or so. 😊

A friend used to make the BEST chicken & broccoli risotto. Slow cooked, with chicken stock ladled in gradually while we chatted & drank red wine. Big shavings of grated fresh parmasan cheese & a few torn fresh basil leaves on top. Voila!

Thanks guys, all good ideas. I'll probably just though some stuff together like waytomisery said and stir fry it. My cheese quota is at its limit, for this week. 🤪

Daisy, doing a stir fry sounds good, I like to add garlic and ginger, adds great flavor and LOTS of immunity boosting nutrients.

We are going to smoke some chicken, hot dogs and a ham. Yippee! No cooking for me all weekend and next week just prepping different veggies to fill the meal. Love holiday weekends!

God Bless America!

Stir fry is always good and healthy. Garlic and ginger always!!!

Had left over frozen turkey dinner here yesterday and home made cranberry sauce. I'm sorting out the freezers and it's cool days this week. Sent the rest of it off with R to the farm for a quick meal for him.

Found a good gluten free, dairy free corn (like) low carb bread mix. Great texture and very moist. I'll have to figure out how to ramp up the flavour without adding lots of carbs.

Woke up to 65 F (18C) this morning. Fresh!!!

Golden, a sharp cheddar mixed in helps amp flavor with a small amount or you can use mild green chili and corn to make it kinda like a spoon/pudding bread put a handful of cheddar cheese to change it up. Kalamata olives add an amazing kick.

Herbs are great for amping up bread. Love rosemary and olive oil.

Chipotle powder with some white cheddar makes a great combo.

Just some ideas.

Love, love, love homemade cranberry sauce with turkey and chicken. Mmmmgooood!

Thx ITRR. Cheese would be great but I am allergic to all dairy. I was thinking of adding some chilis. Olives are good and also rosemary. I used to grind up an orange, peel and all, and add it to cornbread. It keeps it very moist and adds flavour.

Sorry, I forgot about the allergy.

The whole orange sounds delish. Oh, some orange, cranberries and cinnamon, a desert bread, yummo!
