Sorry to say, but this site has been so depressing for a few days. I thought I'd ask an average, everyday question....to make us all feel a little more normal today.
I made Eggplant Lasagna, and my BIL and SIL are coming for dinner. They leave for Cali tomorrow to see their beautiful grand daughter.
Sorry, sometimes we just need some REGULAR conversation.......or at least THIS caregiver does.
Buckwheat blueberry pancakes (2 small ones) with small amount VT maple syrup.
Cup of plain coffee with light cream
Then I BBQd them on a grill mat so they were not droopy at any point and I could easily roll them over to cook without fear of them falling through the grate.
The meat is so thin that I had 40 pieces from a pound of rib eye roast. Pieces are roughly 4.5 square. I did not use anything that was much smaller because I couldn't get the rolls to hold as well.
Fingers crossed it turns out, because those beefy onion rolls are time consuming and took 2 days to prepare everything so it could be handled without burns.
I ordered one of new Brava ovens. Should be delivered tomorrow. Anxious to try it out.
LOL!! Some would consider heating something up as cooking!
I had a Turkey pot pie, my SO and Mother had a Chicken pot pie. I baked therefore I cooked! LOL!!
Isthisrealyreal,
I have no idea what type of goulash it is. It is my mother's recipe & it is very basic. But crusty bread with it is very yummy! Let's face it, crusty bread makes everything that much better!😋
