Luckylu- DH enjoys peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

We even make a peanut butter and jelly bread that sells well at the market.
Didn't know that many people like peanut butter and jelly.
I have heard it said once that anything with hair or fur loves peanut butter.

They had pot roast with all the roasted veggies, a salad, and some rice with gravy, cheesecake for desert.

I had black beans and rice and a salad, and well a piece of cheesecake, I LOVE CHEESECAKE! Couldn't resist it even though I intended to.

i have the ham , green beans , and potatos on , thanks pam .

i dont think aunt edna ever served a meal where this wasnt the primary side dish but ive yet to figure out her secret . the beans and potatos were always ' fluffed ' to the point of bursting . im thinking she used very little water and the most gentle simmer .

this ham needs help . must have been one of those prehistoric hogs dug up outta the permafrost or something .

i like the potato and green bean idea .

i hope no one finds my current obsession a little uncomfortable . just like all of us i didnt ask for this mess but i'll deal with it by educating myself as i always have . my enemies will drown in their own ignorance . count on it .

im educating myself today on whats upcoming in jakes murder case . has nothing to do with cooking but ive always haunted this thread .

when jake was killed some persons of interest were brought in and interviewed for hours . personal property was seized and later returned .

3 years later they will be brought in again as suspects and this time the terminology is ' interrogation ' . their previous lies will be confronted with facts that have been gathered and the objective is to have them resign in defeat . they arent meant to walk away from this one as free people .

a lot of lives are going to change and mine is one of them . my years of preparing myself and my home ( often in the face of nagging doubt ) are going to pay off .

its been a btch ...

JColl, I've been trying to eat healthier too but it's so hard sometimes. I'm an emotional eater. When I'm having a bad day I just want to garf down a hunk of fudge or a bag of doritos. :P
