Sorry to say, but this site has been so depressing for a few days. I thought I'd ask an average, everyday question....to make us all feel a little more normal today.
I made Eggplant Lasagna, and my BIL and SIL are coming for dinner. They leave for Cali tomorrow to see their beautiful grand daughter.
Sorry, sometimes we just need some REGULAR conversation.......or at least THIS caregiver does.
Last night it was Thai chicken soup and a small chicken pot pie.
Friday, I'm hoping to make my favorite tacos!
Good News! You don’t have to worry about HER for awhile.
Sitting bedside with the Viking
But it's trash night so I guess I should leave so I'm not bumping into raccoons when I take the cans out
I would rather cook a whole turkey, baked/roasted. Yum! Excellent idea Golden! It is do-able for me, here, today.
So sorry but I think I have your two neighbors (crazy persons) mixed up. I will try and sort it out by reading backwards. Are they both dangerous?
Sending you healing thoughts
Your courage and grace are undeniable
I'm so sorry this has happened to you.It must've scared you to death being attacked like that out of the blue. It's just awful!
I'm sending up a big Prayer for you tonight...Please take good care~ {{{hugs}}}, Lu
Hope you manage to escape tomorrow Becky and get something decent to eat. Hope you press charges even if she is not responsible sbe needs to be taken off the street.
Maybe you should stay IH about 3 days?
Where is your hubs about now?
That is just insane.
So sorry you were attacked by an insane person.
I hope you can recover quickly, and figure out a way to keep safe in the future.
Please report the man who was with her previously, tell the police the story-he also seemed aggressive.
If you feel up to it, do you want to talk about it on the "Caregivers Behaving Badly" thread?
Did you even see her there? You must be in shock!
Advice: Do not talk to her family at all. Nix that for legal reasons.
That’s awful! Glad you are not seriously injured.
She has to go to court tomorrow for to get papered for a 60-day admission, hearing for permanent. Her mother said she would be there with all of her psych history. Local police will be there to tell about her pattern of being at our house and how irrational and antagonistic she is. The family and the police both think that she should be hospitalized indefinitely. Weird, but the time I was on the ground she kept yelling it was my fault, if I had given her therapy sessions she wouldn't have had to do anything. My fault, I don't think so.
