Yes V91 we still eat that in winter its yummy! you can have pie OR pudding the pudding is suet pastry and a little trickeir to make and you have to steam it! i usually make it with puff pastry on the side! I will be using these old recipes in my coffee shop one day! JB - how do you grill watermelon?

Now I really don't have an appetite. liver...kidneys...yuk! I can barely stand frying liver and onions for my mom which she loves. I do it about once a month and hold my breath. It is a good thing it doesn't take long to cook the liver. It is one of her favorites so I try to make it for her. I am going to have to remember to make myself bacon when I make her liver...good idea.
Kidney's brings back a childhood memory I will never ever forget. My dad loved kidneys and wanted me to try them. I sat for two hours at the table...could not eat them. Finally, my dad said if I ate one I would never have to eat them ever again. I ate that 'one' through the tears running down my face. Even tasted the tears with that kidney. After that when my mother made kidneys for my dad she made something else for my dinner. All the other kids had to eat the kidneys but I got the special dinner. It could have been a hot dog or a peanut butter sandwich, I don't remember. All I remember is it wasn't those kidneys, never again. I miss my dad. He has been gone 35 years now. I would eat a kidney if I could see him now.

Dinner: Garden salad with chicken

I hadn't made it for a while, either, Ashlynne - saw it at the meat counter the other day and couldn't resist. Now I won't eat it again for about a year. LOL It's one of those things I crave now and then, but then I'm done for a while!

Liver, bacon & onions, oh my, haven't had that in a long time. The day of my dogs get friend liver chopped in their suppers. It's cheap and nutritious but la de da society turns its nose up ... their loss! I grill tomato halves to go with mine. Now you got me going - have to make this next week!

Florida definitely. It has an old core going from the panhandle through the center of the state almost to Orlando. Jacksonville is included, even though it is east. The rest is aimed at tourism and is like a different world.

I spent about 15 years in Georgia. To me, Atlanta is Georgia. The rest of the state is kind of crazy. But I love Savannah and the foothills.
