Dolce Vita was born from something deeply personal. When I was young, I watched my mother care for my father during his battle with liver cancer. It wasn’t just the medical complexity or the emotional weight—it was the quiet, daily sacrifices she made to keep him comfortable at home. Later, she became a professional caregiver, bringing that same strength and empathy into the lives of others. That experience shaped me. I eventually worked in an assisted living facility, where I led activities and cared for residents living with dementia. I played music, told stories, and sat beside people who no longer remembered my name—but still smiled when I walked into the room. It was beautiful work. But it also made one thing clear: while facilities provide care, nothing compares to the presence and attentiveness of one-on-one support in the comfort of home.
