After years of leadership and service in their respective careers, Johnathan and Brandi Stephens felt called to invest in something that would create a lasting impact in their community. Having personally navigated the challenges of caring for an aging loved one from a distance, they understood how overwhelming, emotional, and isolating the journey can feel for families. That is why they created Senior Helpers of Greater Arlington — a mission rooted in serving with dignity, supporting families, and enriching the lives of older adults through trusted, relationship-centered care.
Johnathan is a Service-Disabled U.S. Air Force veteran who honorably served our nation through three tours in the Middle East. His military service instilled a lifelong commitment to leadership, integrity, and service before self, values that continue to guide his mission today. What once protected our country now protects the dignity, safety, and well-being of seniors throughout the Greater Arlington community. Brandi brings that same heart for service through her extensive career in healthcare and senior support. With nearly two decades of experience in talent acquisition, she has developed a proven expertise in identifying, developing, and retaining exceptional talent, because providing outstanding care begins with choosing the right people. Her background ensures that every professional representing Senior Helpers meets the highest standards of skill, compassion, and character. Together, Johnathan and Brandi understand caregiving not only from a professional perspective, but a deeply personal one. As long-distance caregivers for Johnathan's late mother, who lived with dementia, they experienced firsthand the emotional weight, uncertainty, and difficult decisions that so many families face. That journey shaped their purpose and strengthened their resolve.
Today, Senior Helpers of Greater Arlington operates as a mission-driven, in-home care service rooted in servant leadership. Under Johnathan and Brandi's guidance, caregivers are thoughtfully selected, thoroughly trained, and supported within a culture built on respect, accountability, and compassion. Every decision is guided by a simple belief: Seniors deserve to age with dignity, and families deserve peace of mind.
We are licensed, bonded and insured and have screened and continuously trained caregivers that are immediately available to service your family’s needs in a caring and trusting environment-your home.
We specialize in companion care and personal care, and have the ability to provide support with transportation, errands, and other activities of daily living (ADLs). We also have a proprietary assessment process called Life Profile that allows us to determine the type of collaborative care our clients can benefit from. Our goal is to provide the right amount of care. Not too much or too little. This tool allows us to do just that.
We specialize in Dementia and Alzheimer’s care through another proprietary program called Senior Gems?, a collaboration between Senior Helpers and renowned cognitive disease expert, Teepa Snow.
Quality of Life Planner is a tool we use to encourage engagement between our clients and caregivers. Engagement and interaction is extremely important. It gives our Seniors a purpose that at times could be missing.
We are proud to accept VA BENEFITS, LONG TERM CARE INSURANCE, as well as private pay to assist as many families as possible.
For Johnathan and Brandi, Senior Helpers is not simply a business--it is a calling. That calling is carried forward by all of us here at Senior Helpers of Greater Arlington. Our mission is to be more than care providers; we strive to be trusted partners, walking with families through every stage of the aging journey with compassion, excellence, and faith.
