Find Care & Housing
When I search "most highly rated washable and reuseable underwear for incontinent seniors, here is what ChapGPT5.1 returned:

- Poise Washable Adult Incontinence Underwear — A highly rated (4.5★) choice for light to moderate bladder leaks in women. Feels like regular underwear but with a built-in absorbent core (4-layer defense) to wick moisture, reduce odors, and prevent leaks. Good balance of comfort, discretion, and everyday usability.

- Wearever Ladyfem Unique‑Dri Reusable Incontinence Panties — Designed with a sewn-in absorbent pad, soft cotton/poly blend, waterproof outer layer, and antimicrobial fabric. Good for light-to-moderate leaks, and well-reviewed for comfort and reliability. Its discreet design makes it a solid choice for regular daily wear.

- Wearever Super Incontinence Cotton Panties — Similar to the Ladyfem version but with thicker/longer absorbent pads for heavier leaks. Good for seniors needing more protection but still wanting washable, reusable underwear rather than disposable briefs.

- Thinx For All Leaks Reusable Incontinence Underwear — Comfortable, moisture-wicking, odor-controlling underwear that feels like normal underwear. Well-suited for mild leaks and for those prioritizing discretion and comfort.

- Wearever Maximum Absorbency Bladder Control Panties — A higher-capacity reusable panty (with multi-layer padding and waterproof barrier) offering up to ~20 oz absorbency. Good for moderate to heavier incontinence needs.

- Depend Men's Washable Adult Incontinence Underwear — A solid reusable option for men, combining discreet fit, moisture-wicking, odor control, and comfort. Good for daily or light-to-moderate leaks, without bulkiness.

- BKPremiumCare Reusable Leak‑Proof Adult Diaper — A well-reviewed reusable brief that’s soft, breathable, and designed for daily protection. Great for individuals needing reliable leak-proof coverage and a discreet profile under clothing.

- TigheClothing Men's Washable Incontinence Boxer Shorts — A more custom/handcrafted option (from a smaller vendor) offering a discreet, underwear-like look with multiple absorbent layers and waterproofing. Might be suited for men needing flexibility, comfort, and reusability in a more “normal underwear” style.

I imagine you will have to search the web for advice about washable adult incontinence products and trust what reviews you find there.

As for the saliva, do speak to your doctor about this as there may be ways to lessen this. You'll need to keep him on his side with a pillow behind his back so that the saliva that pools can run out of his mouth, place a folded towel under his head and use petroleum jelly or a barrier cream on his face to alleviate irritation. But you can't just leave him that way all night because that's risks pressure ulcers, someone will need to reposition him every couple of hours.

If dad is "choking" on his own saliva at night, he's not safe at home! Please get his doctor to order a swallow study for him right away!

As MAC said, all underwear is washable. Disposable briefs for incontinence you throw away after each use. If you are looking for incontinence washable underwear, search it out on Amazon. Several types are available.

Good luck to you.

It is difficult to read your questions.
All underware is washable. Do you mean disposable underware? They can be purchased in drugstores or Walmart.
For your dad, his doctor can order an oral suction machine through his insurance. The doctor can also order a swallow study. The speech therapist can teach you how to help him swallow
