Talk with a Medicaid worker. If you are eligible for Medicaid, you can have a caregiver you choose to be paid for your care. Try your county Health & Human Services office to get started with the application.

To qualify, you must be disabled, unable to provide your own personal cares and activities of daily living without assistance. You must also have limited income and assets to qualify financially for support.

The State will pay you to take care of her.... I go through "Age & Disabilities" Company in Washington State. I get paid to take care of my "Dementia Sister" and another disabled Sister and my Autistic Nephew. It's cheaper to pay a family member than to put them in a Home for the Disabled & nicer for her to be home.
