Does insurance pay for inconvenience supplies

Find Care & Housing
Medicaid does pay. Traditional Medicare, no. Looks like some advantage plans do.

I have traditional Medicare with bluecross as a supplimental thru my husbands union. We each get a OTC card now and incontinence products are covered. You really need to call your insurance company directly to see what your plan covers. They are all so different.

Some plans do. My Mom was on Humana Medicare Advantage and she got a stipend of $30 a month OTC benefits. We were also able to get some from the local Senior Center at no charge through the Area Agency on Aging.
People on Medicaid will have better plans.

It depends on the insurance. My mom pays for hers out of pocket.
