What is it you really want to know?

Respite can be someone coming to provide care at home for a few hours to relieve you. You could hire someone through a homecare agency.

If the person you care for requires skilled nursing care, you can call skilled nursing facilities to ask if they have a bed available for respite. It could be for a week, a month, or whatever period of time you feel you need for yourself to recover. Many skilled nursing facilities don't like to take a patient for a short term respite stay. You might have better luck with a short term rehab SNF. They will be obligated to try and put the patient through physical and occupational therapy, as that is the service they bill for, and will kick the patient out if they are not making "progress".

Perhaps you could provide a little more information, or expand on your question to get better answers.
