My husband doesn't make it to the bathroom usually twice a week.

Perhaps speak to his doctor, as others have mentioned, to see what might be done.

Disposable underwear like Depends are very discreet and helpful for containing and clean up.

Beyond that, when my loved one started having these issues, I tried to pay attention to what he had eaten that day, or even the day before, for clues. Many foods are usual culprits for people—cabbages, legumes, spicy foods, onions and heavy garlic. I know for my loved one things that make you gassy often result in fecal escape while passing gas.

I hope you find a way to minimize this really unpleasant problem. It is hard for him and for you!

I would speak with his doctor if he is constipated or having GI issues. If you mean he is having accidents, you may need to start using adult diapers.

Are you talking about urine incontinence or bowel? Does he have diarrhea?

More info would be helpful.
