We have discussion all the time about why taking dementia patients on the road is a bad idea. Yet Roger Craig went two time zones away and appeared live with multiple colleagues he may or may not know in front of 60000 people.

Wow, just watched the speech. I wouldn’t have really have guessed that anything was wrong until he mentions his diagnosis at the end.

I encourage everyone with a similar diagnosis in their family to watch the video including his appearing on stage. Showtiming ability clearly remains even after a dementia diagnosis, itself requiring at least a stage 5 progression.

So sad. I would imagine that the specter of a future dementia diagnosis hangs over all former football players.
