From its profile:
"...I built HereFolk, a real human telephone companionship and wellness service that puts a consistent, caring presence in an elderly person's life and keeps their family genuinely informed after every single call.
I'm here on this forum because the families in these threads are exactly who I built HereFolk for. "
Really? Who is "I" exactly? No human name attributed to the profile, no human being identified when I AI search about this company: no name for the founder, CEO, owner, etc. Very cloaked. The opposite of the warmth and caring it wants to sell us.
From this forum's Statement on Advertisement and Sponsorship page:
"Advertising must be easily identifiable and clearly labeled as 'Advertisement.' "
Moderators, please review this profile and the motives.
Herefolk, the people on this forum aren't here to shop. If the moderators allowed you and the *many* other enterprises to post here then this forum would just be clogged up with posts like some shallow social media platform. There are plenty of other forums and platforms for that. We need some sanctuary from commerce and alternative motives and people posting platitudes.

I worked in branding/marketing for decades so I understand what you're doing and why -- but not here, ok? You are not the first enterprise to want to sell something on this forum and you won't be the last. You are getting equal treatment no matter how "hurt" you feel.

I've been posting here almost daily since 2019 and many participants even longer than that so we can spot a sales pitch from a mile away and are sensitive to it. I'm on my 5th elder and now am housing a young man with terminal brain cancer. We only want to talk to people who have actual first-hand caregiving (or receiving) experience or are here to learn because they are at the forefront of that journey, or have valuable post-mortem wisdom to share.

What you are posting can be gotten from AI.

Sorry Herefolk, but this site is self monitoring. Some of us have been regular posters for years. If any of us feels that a post is actually an advertisement, we report it to the Administrators and they do their own research and may contact you. They will determine if your post is an Ad or someone looking for help.

This one really hurt me. I've explained everything to Geaton777 in a private message. Sending you that too. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Thanks, Geaton. I also googled and found nothing substantive. It could be legitimate, but it could be a way to scam seniors by getting them to talk and share personal information, at their families' expense!
