Could cognitive impairment continue or stabilize? Is stable right now and looking into skilled nursing.

My mom had a subdural hematoma many years ago, when she was in her mid-70s. She recovered at home after the surgery and, as far as we know, did not have long-term cognitive effects from the hematoma or the surgery.

How old is the person who had a subdural hematoma? Did the person have cognitive issues before the hematoma developed?

Doing all daily living activities prior to this. In their 90s so minimal cognitive decline prior. Doing fairly well now.
