Who is to say when I provided them with the necessary documents that they won't uplift the block? They nursing home have mentioned that our mother is incompetent to making any decisions. My mother has been living with me & my kids for 22yrs, don't think she will block us or anyone else for that matter. She enjoys talking and seeing people that she loves. This is a serious issue that I have & I don't know what to do here. Any thoughts?
If not, I would work with the "proxy" to try and come to a compromise so you can keep tabs on what's going on with your mom.
You've not given us all the details here, like why you're not moms POA if she lived with you for 22 years, and who this "proxy" is, so it's really hard to try and help you, but I wish you well in getting this all figured out before it's too late.
The Financial POA hold the cards. They do not have to give any info to the Medical proxy in way of Financial. They are not even privy to the Will and if they are, cannot give the details of it. Thats for the Executor after death when both the FPOA and Medical proxy are revoked.
We do need more info.
