We are not an employment agency. I would start with your County Office of Aging. They may be able to help you find resourses.

Care.com will connect you with private hourly caregivers in your area.

Social services in your county may be able to provide some in-home help if you qualify.

To be totally honest, you will be shocked at the cost of care. In your situation, the best sustainable and least complicated solution will probably be transitioning into a good AL facility where they have a continuum of care levels and accept Medicaid (which many elders eventually need to cover their medical care in a facility).

Best that you work through this now and not during a bigger health or medical crisis, like if one of you has a catastrophic fall and breaks a hip, or worse. Many elders think they can "age in place" in their homes but as they decline it becomes more and more complicated, difficult and expensive.

Contact your local Aging Services agency and ask what help you might be eligible for, or look on Care.com for possible helpers you can hire for the tasks you need help with. Consider if living on your own is still the best option for you and sister

You can also click on the "Find Care" tab at the top of this page to hopefully find the care that you're needing.
