How do I keep from hating him? He is not communicative, and makes me feel like I'm in prison. My family really does not understand. And I am miserable.

Find Care & Housing
Place him in Memory Care Assisted Living and see an atty about splitting your assets.

Donna...you need to ask all your questions in one post instead of posting 3 seperate ones within minutes. It makes it harder for folks to get the whole picture of what's going on with you.
You obviously have issues(more than your husband having dementia)and need some therapy. Like I said in your other post you may as well get your husband placed as if you're that miserable I'm sure your husband must be too as even with his broken brain he can still pick up on your moods and attitudes. I feel sorry for him.
At least when you place him he'll have people that care about him and his well being, which is what he deserves in his final years.

You've been asking this here for a while. Place him in Memory Care. The sooner you start, the sooner he will be accepted and you can start rebuilding your life in whatever way you want. An Elder Law attorney can advise you on the finances. So get started.

Start touring memory facilities this week. Get him on waitlists for the best ones. Don't wait till summer.
