Hi. My name is Tina. I have a few disabilities including ESSENTIAL TREMORS, difficulty using my body the right ways as well as suggering from seizures. I take medication for the seziers but I also have nerve damage so everything I try to do is basically a struggle. I'm 47-years-old and come from an abusive background. I currently am on SSDI and get a little over $1,000 a month from the government, but I honestly need help filling out paperwork.

Hi, Tina. Click on this link to find the Area Agency on Aging in your county or region. Alternatively, you could call the local senior center in your community, or Health and Human Services for your county. There should be someone local to you who can help you complete paperwork.

All the best to you. 😊

This is a forum of Caregivers mostly from all over the US and other countries. Sorry, we cannot help you with your paperwork but there are people who can. Call Office of Aging in your County. They should be able to help you or send you to someone who can. While talking with them ask about the Disabilities dept in your county. They can help you find programs to help you. My nephew is on a State program where he pays 30% for his apartment. Through this program, he gets a coordinator and an aide once a week. Both can help him with paperwork. He receives good stamps.

You may qualify for Supplimental Income help (SSI). That you need to go thru Social Services.
