I recently returned to reading the posts here. And I will be frank: when a rant/personal story runs on and on and onnnnnnnn, without commas, semi-colons, paragraph breaks, attention to spelling, well, I stop reading. And too much unnecessary information, superfluous details, etc. —well, you may have a sincere need, but you are losing most of your audience with your poor writing, and perhaps alienating the more intelligent readers who might otherwise offer useful advice.
If it is a legal question, particularly one whose answer may vary from state to state, well, for Christ’s sake, consult an attorney, not some sponsored, random website like this one.
I get it: some just need a place to whine and moan, and elicit sympathy. That is fine. But some of these topics just spiral on into Crazy Cloud Cuckoo Land. I’m thinking of one poster, with multiple aliases, in particular. Anyone agree?
We have one member that copies the text and transfers it to a word document. Then she puts all the punctuation and paragraphs in to be able to understand the post better.
Yes, some give too much info and others not enough. Like one of the threads going on. If OP had told us a little of her circumstances in the beginning or even made it plainner when I posted instead of attacking me, the thread may have been a lot different and not all this dissension.
So, to those of you who comment frequently, on your good days and on your bad days, honestly THANK YOU. You do not know how your wisdom is valued by lots of folks just like me. Please don't stay away because of the nonsense brought about by the "OP with multi personalities"... those long and nasty threads will disappear, but I will still be here, looking for you to share your experiences and your wisdom.
{If you, too, were here all weekend and had the "pleasure" of reading ALL of the messages --- before the moderators cleaned it up and deleted many of her angry/sharp-tongued/vulgar responses to anyone and everyone....well then, you missed the show...lucky you. It was a lot. Bonus: I learned a few new words and phrases!}
