You asked another question about rides without background info. Who will be his attendants and how do you plan to get him in a vehicle? This is a job for an ambulance: A very expensive ride requiring multiple attenents. Where is a quadraplegic planning to go? Is he at 400 lbs? I hardly think a chair is that weighty. At 400 lbs, he is very limited in even finding a nursing home with a hoyer lift since most max out at < 350 lbs. Are you asking to find out if he can be cared at home?

Can you give more information about his condition, who he lives with, if he is a veteran, etc.

Where do you want to take your father, and how often? It might make more sense to pay for a medical transport vehicle when needed because the driver could help with moving him and his wheelchair, with an extra attendant if needed.
