Find Care & Housing
Nothing else to do. Getting older is not really great for those people suffering from somekind of ailment. My friend has always been a complainer and she still does it. But now at 71 with all kinds of health problems and in lockdown in a NH, she has something to complain about.

I've got to say that the older I get the more I feel like complaining! It seems that every day something that was once as automatic and easy as breathing becomes difficult - the body betrays, technology changes, pop culture evolves in a way that people who aren't surrounded by the younger generation totally miss (what the heck IS TikTok anyway?), not to mention both blatant and subtle ageism - throw in a pessimistic personality and there you are!

Conversation starter maybe? The weather is fine gets a bit dull.

Forgive my silliness tonight - I was just picturing the TV news being delivered by a grumpy elder as a list of complaints...

"And they STILL haven't fixed that virus yet.. disgusting really, it's been half a year. What are they waiting for? Back in my day people knew how to wash their hands properly I tell ya. We had a cold here & there - didn't need to go discover some brand new type of virus. We were perfectly happy with the common cold. Then there's those people speeding around in rockets going up into space - just making noise & poluting up the air. Others crashing planes, blowing up ports. Just a bunch of vandals these days running around everywhere".
